Not the best in Chinese food. Kind of a let down at best all around. Upon entering, the decor is so gorgeous it makes you believe you're at a fine dining restaurant! The bar is nicely set up, but the mixed drinks are inexpensive for a reason! Save your money and order water, tea, or Coke products. A lot of previous reviews stated their waitress didn't understand/speak English very well, I just say be patient, ask all the questions you need to ensure your food comes out right. We had no problems ordering, the food came out hot and fast and looked great; HOWEVER, it was extremely lacking in taste/flavor. I didn't know they could manage "bland" Chinese food, but this location accomplished just that. I even asked for "extra spicy" on an already 🌶 Spicy tagged dish...it wasn't in the least spicy at all. If you don't care what your food tastes like, it's quick, hot and fairly inexpensive and large portions (family style) but we saw many leaving with to-go containers. If you have the time, just go to their other location until they can get someone in that knows how to season/cook Chinese food. We won't make a second visit and I don't recommend...
Read moreFirst time here was amazing. However the second time my taste buds were left with bland overpriced food. I started off with my strawberry daiquiri. That was delicious. The next dish to come out was my cream cheese wantons. I was surprised to find out they only include cream cheese and no crab meat. Not a huge deal breaker. The third dish to come out was the chicken Lo Mein. I was so incredibly dissatisfied. The taste was not there and the food was under saturated with flavor. No amount of soy sauce could fix this atrocity. I had a side of white rice and the rice was still so undercooked it was crunchy. It was unfortunate that this was the meal I was given on a Saturday night. Could have been a different cook or simply trying to save on ingredients. All I can say, is that I hope this was a one time thing. I was looking forward to my meal the entire ride here. I sadly will be leaving utterly dissatisfied and...
Read moreI live across the street from the Chinese restaurant with the same name in Thornton. But that is where the similarities end. Over the years the quality of food and cleanliness of the restaurant in Thornton has gone downhill. I am so glad that I have now found Heaven Dragon in Brighton. This restaurant is modern, clean and very schnazzy with a really cool bar. My waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered spring rolls with shrimp. The peanut sauce was delicious and the spring rolls themselves were amazing. Then I ordered lemon chicken which at some restaurants comes as a long breast of chicken that's been fried, this was chunks of chicken (white and dark meat) that was deep fried. I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was spot on and the sauce was just lemony to give you a good tang. Overall I was very impressed with the food and restaurant as a whole. Even the...
