I couldn't be more thankful and grateful that Pal Barger made the decision to build and run a Pal's business location literally only a few hundred feet down the road from the Bristol Pinnacle. Some customers don't want to necessarily eat from a restaurant located inside the Pinnacle after a day's worth of shopping 🛒🛍️ but instead they may want to eat some of Pal's famous sauce🥫 burgers 🍔or their drenched with Lawry's Seasoning Salt 🧂 Frenchie Fries 🍟😘😉😋😛. Pal's slogan, Food in a Flash, is one of the very few advertisement slogans that is nothing but accurate and factual because customers never have to wait in their drive thrus for any amount of time exceeding 2 minutes. I can honestly say that I know quite a bit about the business and consumer portions behind these locally owned fast food restaurants because I was hired to work at the Church Hill, TN. location at the age of 15, which needless to say, was my very 1st job 🧑🍳. I also got to work at the John B. Dennis Hwy location, at the age of 19, as a shift manager. The late founder and owner of Pal's, named Pal Barger, was honestly a very business savy, intelligent, and compassionate human being. Pal watched me enter the company as a literal kid and leave as a mature, grown woman with managerial experience under my belt. Everyone and anyone who was born, raised, or has frequented the Appalachian region (Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia area) can most definitely say that they know of Pal's fast food and I guarantee they have nothing but positive reviews and memories regarding their food and service. I highly recommend that EVERYONE AND ANYONE should eat at least once at any Pal's location cause I can guarantee and promise that u will leave utterly satisfied, full, and leave with a lasting memory of great food in a...
Read moreWe found this place on a road trip detour. Naturally, we stopped because most-adorable-hamburger-place-ever. The service was what a drive thru service would expect to be but who cares because THE BURGER AND FRIES. You know when you see someone on tv eat a really good fast food burger and fries from the 50s? No? Well, trust me. This one does NOT disappoint. We’re not talking about health food folks, calm down. It’s a tasty, melty, greasy, cheesy monstrous burger with crispy, salty fries. Yes, I unapologetically topped it off with a soda AND a chocolate milkshake, because who doesn’t want to risk diarrhea at a truck stop? Pal’s finds it place on my top 3 burger road food list. Grab some...
Read moreI don't eat Pals often but my boss is a die-hard & treated our crew to Pals 3 times while we were working on a project nearby. I was impressed they had the orders correct every time. The food was actually better than I remembered & still hot when we received it. My only complaint would be their stinginess with condiments. Our first order included 3 large fries & 2 regular size & we were given 5 ketchup packets. When subsequent orders were placed, extra ketchup & salt & pepper were requested. For 6 meals, we were given 6 ketchup packets & 5 salt & pepper packets. Aside from that, I would recommend...
