After walking in with no greeting and waiting 15 minutes to get matched up for a foundation - THAT THEY ONLY HAD 4 COLORS IN STOCK!! I understand you get your shipments certain days and you sell out of products fast.... But this isnât a new product. The born this way foundation has been out on market for 3-4 years now if Iâm recalling.... This ulta never has anything out on the floor but pallets to swatch, highlighters, bronzers, foundations. And if that, theyâre shattered, missing shades, etc. I was going to buy a setting spray with my purchase today but when I went to see how the mister was... it was an empty bottle... ON DISPLAY!! After a girl comes up to me (her name was Megan I think... she wasnât even in dress code for ulta... I know itâs all black... not jeans with holes and a white off the shoulder top) to match me for my born this way foundation and sees the color isnât out on the floor I ask her if they may have any in the back OR if she can call and see if they have any at the kingsport location. She says that I CAN CALL and see if they have any..... Thatâs your job I thought? I then said âokay then can you check in the back for me please?â She then huffs and says âI guess Iâll go checkâ. Then screams at somebody because she needs the key to the vault because she canât get in!! Totally unprofessional!! Walk up to the person for crying out loud!! All in all after waiting for 25-30 minutes for a foundation she comes out with the shade and doesnât even say have a nice day when she walks away!! Just slams it in my hand and walks away!! Just drive the extra 15 minutes up the road to the kingsport location and you will get much better customer appreciation and respect!!! The women that work at this ulta are un professional besides one woman that works night shifts!! taller, heavier, and dark hair!! Sheâs amazing!! I feel bad that she works with these...
Read moreI just moved to Bristol and was looking for a stylist after leaving mine in Florida. I came in to have my brows done by a nice woman named Brooke and she did a great job. I mentioned I was needing a stylist for my hair badly and she recommended their salon and a stylist named Jen. I asked for a partial balayage and grey coverage. She turned my roots reddish brown and put a couple highlights in with no blending. I told her it was red and she offered nothing to fix it. I went home and was in tears. She kept me in the chair talking while she would work on one piece of hair for so long 7 hours went by. I called them the next day and they offered to fix it for me. I went into another inexperienced stylist who did practically nothing to change it. The roots were done again and still had a red tone to them and no blending with the highlights I already had, it was a mess. I was so frazzled from the hours I spent there and the trauma of the experience shaking I even dropped my phone in the parking lot and lost it for an hour until it was found. I was walking around crying, and devastated from the experience. Iâve since found a new salon in Johnson City and an EXCELLENT new stylist, a true professional. I wanted to write this because the past month and a half have been so hard this has truly hurt me. I have damaged my own hair trying to fix their mistakes and thankfully found a new stylist to fix it all. On top of the inexperience of the stylists this salon is SO expensive. They charged me 400 dollars to ruin my hair. Please donât go there for balayage, highlights, or color. I didnât want to leave this review because I hate the negativity but the new salon Iâve found is so beautiful and dramatically different in atmosphere, professionalism, and cost I had to leave this. Hopefully someone will read it and be saved from the experience I had. Thatâs why I did...
