I placed a mobile order on my app. My husband was driving and we went through the drive thru to pick up our coffee. I am always the one who does the mobile orders on my phone. There weren’t any other cars in the drive thru and my husband just went on to the window. He didn’t realize (because he never mobile orders) that he needed to stop at the speaker to tell them we had a mobile order. We pull up to the window and she visibly rolls her eyes before we even said a word. My husband says, “we have a mobile order.” She says “stop at the speaker next time so we can have it ready.” She then walks over to the counter picks up our coffees that were already ready. We can see her side eyeing us in the window, staring us down with a mad look on her face. She was extremely rude. She wouldn’t take her glare off of us. We stayed quiet and just said thank you. I didn’t catch a name on a name tag, but she had very blue colored hair. This is not a way to treat customers. I know sometimes people have other things going on and take it out on others, but this was unnecessary. It’s unprofessional and it makes for a bad experience for customers to be made to feel like that. Be...
Read moreThis is quite literally the worst Starbucks I've ever been to.
I've been a regular at the Kingsport one for a while, but moved to Bristol so this one it is. I've given chance after chance, but my most recent visit will be my last. This was March 14th in the afternoon. I placed an order on the app and arrived within 5 minutes. No one was in the drive thru, it was the middle of the day. I pulled up and said that I had an online order. The person over the speaker said "well you just placed the order so it's not ready but you can pull around I guess."
I'm sorry but WHAT is with the attitude. Also, it had been five minutes since I placed the order, so I don't understand what the issue was. I pulled around, and the same person I spoke to on the speaker gave me my drink. Didn't say hello or thanks. Nothing. Slammed the window shut. I paid $6.83 for a venti frozen strawberry lemonade, and it was already melted, separated, and just tasted like pure acid. The cup was covered in sweat, meaning it wasn't just freshly made.
If the employee had been nicer, I would have went back and asked for a new beverage, but I did not feel welcome there. I haven't...
Read moreVery nice Starbucks walking in, however I give one star due to the unprofessional ability to solve problems and how I had to buy my own cup to get my coffee. Which was the price of another coffee. We are driving 16 hrs through town, stopped in for a coffee. They somehow ran out of lids for grande and venti cups. We ordered several grande coffees and they tried to give us the equal amount in “talls”. I asked if I could have the cup without the lid, that was a no. I then asked if I got my own cup for them to make it if they would make it in that since we are traveling. We don’t have enough space to put 4-6 talls in our car, let alone I would rather not divide up my coffee. They went ahead and made it anyway after I had already said no, so off to the side I had to buy my own travel cup, and pour my own coffee to make it fit. I ended up wasting it because it wouldn’t fit. Only one employee was even moderately apologetic. I am very disappointed in Starbucks as I am paying high dollar for coffee and good service. I chose Starbucks for the high quality and...
