Five Below — Local services in Bristol

Frankly surprisingly bad customer service. Took my parents here while they were in town. Tried to purchase $20 in merchandise with a $10 bill and the rest on card. They took my cash and then charged the full $20 to my card. We noticed as leaving and went back in to let them know. The receipt reflected the full amount went to my card and no cash was taken. Showed the manager the receipt and the cashier came up and vouched that she took my $10 and for some reason the manager started acting like I was lying?? Even with my receipt clearly showing that the full amount went on my card, he still told me I had to log into my bank account and show him the entire amount, and when I did that, he then tried to tell me that sometimes the receipt won’t show the cash amount and that I was still wrong?? Which just made no sense because I know how to read a receipt and could see the full charge on my card. He then had to re-confirmed with the cashier that I gave her $10, and finally after almost 5 minutes and nearly having to argue about my receipt, he gave me the $10 back. Honestly just amazed at the lack of trust and unproffessional manner in which we were treated. I literally had to argue to get my $10 back. This will be the first and last time...

I absolutely love the store but today was a different story. I went in with 2 of my daughters. After getting a few items, we went to check out, no one was in line, so we went to self checkout, which is the majority if not the only form of registers available. I seen an employee stocking items in the store in the isle behind the registers. When we started scanning our items, the employee came to the register that was behind us, leaned against it, with her legs crossed and arms folded and watched us scan every single item. Would given this business in general 5 stars if they had more variety when it comes to makeup, home decor options, etc but I also shouldn't expect too much when the name of the store is Five Below lol 🤣😆. My 3 daughters absolutely love coming here to purchase items to decorate their rooms and home. I mainly go to this location for their pet items, makeup, nails, and cheap headphones or earbuds lol 🤣😆. Definitely recommend visiting this location and checking out the inexpensive prices on a somewhat variety of items. Also thankful that finally opened 2 locations in the Tri Cities region of...
