The food here is a 10/10
I donât normally write reviews for anything locally online but I have to make an exception here and spread word about this place.
IF YOU WANT TENDERS IN MASSACHUSETTS THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO I PROMISE.
I genuinely have no idea how the Popeyes across the street is able to stay afloat with this restaurant open. If Yas chicken had more marketing I promise that Popeyes is closing down.
Iâve only ever had there tender meal but with that I can confidently say The quality and quantity of food you are getting per dollar in that meal alone, blows away anything Popeyes or KFC can offer.
If you donât know where to get your tenders between Yas chicken, Popeyes and KFC always bet on Yas Chicken!
The tenders are BOUNTIFUL, your getting 6 GENEROUSLY SIZED pieces compared to Popeyes 5 wildly varied sized pieces of chicken (which often have small pieces) And KFC 5 medium sized pieces.
Taste isnât even close. Yas had them beat HEAVY! I donât even need the sauce (BUT THE SAUCE IS ALSO REALLLLY GOOD) I get with my meal to enjoy the chicken, itâs that good on its own, and itâs jam packed with flavor.
Texture is also a big win for Yas chicken. The chicken is definitely not dry and it comes with 2 free sauces, and they are generous with the sauce servings. Popeyes chicken is significantly dryer and they give you those crappy little flimsy sauce packs. KFC isnât as dry as Popeyes in my experience but when it comes to tenders they are on the overall dryer side for me and ESPECIALLY when compared to Yas Chicken.
The only department KFC have Popeyes have Yas chicken beat in are their fountain drink options, and MAYBE the sides. I really like KFCs Mac and Cheese, not so much Popeyes or Yasâs. And Iâd say Popeyes Cajun fries are pretty comparable to Yasâs but Iâd stronger prefer Yasâs.
Overall I genuinely do not know how the Popeyes across the street from Yas Chicken is even standing. If this place had more marketing Popeyes wouldnât have any more customers. I got Yas chickens tender meal WELL over Popeyes, KFC and even Chic Fil A,s tender options. I promise if I have the option to get tenders in the Brockton area I am always goin here AND YOU SHOULD TOO.
If you are on the fence or thinking about going to get food here PLEASE GIVE IT A CHANCE, YOU...
Read moreWent into here pretty much blind and not expecting to see Korean influenced food but was glad I was able to stop in an enjoy it.
The Yas Supreme sandwich tasted great. The coleslaw was deliciously seasoned and as many people have already reviewed, the chicken itself was very tasty and the Yas Sauce was also quite delicious.
I did also order the Korean Dogs and while quite tasty I was a little let down by the fact that each Korean dog was half filled with cheese and HALF a hotdog each. I know you get two Korean Dogs but for $8.99 I was expecting at least a full hotdog. Not half mozzarella cheese half (half) hotdog. I wasn't expecting it to be made that way BUT a quick google search seems to be that it is normally made half and half. So maybe it's just not for me. That said the menu states "Korean Corndog (2) Fried beef hot dog and mozzarella cheese with ketchup, mayo, and topped with parmesan cheese" not 2 halfs. A simple description change would prevent further confusion to people like myself who weren't expecting half and half.
The dining room was clean and didn't smell dirty at all which was a plus.
Overall though I want to emphasize that the food was very delicious and next time I am in the area will definitely be stopping in again.
(Edited this review 4/2025 from 4 to 5 Stars. Ever since I stopped by here originally and posted my review I have visited this place multiple times and every single time the food has been delicious and the staff have been very hospitable. Would and have highly recommend stopping in to check...
Read moreOverall Iâd give it a 4/5. The service was decent, canât complain. There are plenty of tables and chairs but I wouldnât consider this a sit down place to eat.
I got the chicken and waffles. The waffles were really tasty. It had a hint of cinnamon and sugar but it wasnât too sweet by itself. It came with syrup and ur choice of 1 sauce. Had to try the Yas sauce of course. Honestly it tastes like a spicy mayo with a hint of sweetness and some Korean spices. Some ppl like it, some donât. I thought it was fine, and thereâs plenty of other sauces to choose from if thatâs not ur thing. The chicken was pretty standard in my opinion. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I guess my only complaint is that I need a sauce to fully enjoy this chicken. By itself, Iâm missing that kick like that âoomphâ to it. Idk, to each his own though.
I also got the fried gyoza. Theyâre Asian style dumplings filled with a mix of ground pork and chicken. And itâs lightly coated with a soy ginger garlic type of sauce. Very crispy and delicious (in the pic I already ate 2 cuz theyâre sooo good lol). For $6 you get 6 pieces, with is...
