Been coming to Charlie’s chicken all my life. Pull up today and they closed at 8pm. It’s still daylight out and dinner time??? In the time of sitting there 11 people tried to get in the building but they turned down all customers. Very disappointing (Went through drive through and took 15 mins woulda had food within 2 mins of going in) had to go back to the door to get a fork and spoon. Manager lady should be fired on the spot what a b**. Never been treated like that after I simply said I watched 11 customers walk off after trying to enter. Lucky for her with my position getting a hold of this franchises owner won’t be hard and she won’t be at her job another week! I’m so mad at the way she treated me I will personally pay off the owner to fire her!
(Edit: by the way I own 2 very well operating businesses. One in Tulsa and one in broken arrow. As a business man, part of running a business is satisfying customers. Whenever you watch a dozen people leave your business because of your hours or service you know you need to change the way you operate. I went through drive through to get 4 meals. #1 combo with a sweet tea, 3 chunk combo with a sweet tea and 2 kids meals with sweet teas. Well my guess is the lady in the drive thru was having a bad day or something which I get we all have those days, but to get short with me, cutting me off, giving me attitude for what reason? As I would order she would cut me off, and when I mentioned a sweet tea for the #1 combo, apparently she didn't hear and when ordering the 3 chunk meal she cut me off before I could even say sweet tea before getting cut off with the total. I'm not one to complain because I worked at sonic before and been serving since. But never have I felt so angry where I wanted to say something! Read moreHelllooo my good people. So after a long day of exploring and shopping we decided to just grab something to take back to the hotel. Hubby chose Charlie’s chicken. I got the 2 piece fish plate with potato salad and broccoli and rice casserole. A roll is included. The fish was seasoned but fried too hard. I am not a fan of lumpy potato salad but if it tastes ok I’ll eat it. This one did not taste that good to me. The casserole was lacking something. Maybe flavor 🤨🤷🏽♀️. The roll was the best thing to me. Hubby ordered the 3 piece chicken with the casserole, fried okra and jalapeños. I tasted his chicken and it was not good at all. It was not even warm. Our hotel is not far from this place. Less than 5 min away so it should not have been this temperature. Also it lacked flavor. The jalapeños didn’t help it much. The same for the okra.
