When I say I had had a DAY I'm not joking. I had to get a few family heirlooms from my very very very VERY abusive ex and I didn't get it all. I was very shaken up about how he had brought several guys over and they just watched me and my girls. It was very anxiety inducing. I wanted a steak but my friend who was helping me said she thought chicken was good steak and I had never been to Canes like ever. We walked in and even though it was quite late and the staff who greeted us was male (we were terrfied) even I felt safe and welcomed through my severe anxiety. I was shaking, on the verge of tears, stressed out and scared. They took our order nicely, severed the food quickly. Now I have never in my life liked anything with mayo in it besides deviled eggs. However I'm pretty sure they're special sauce has mayo in it and I loved it. I'm a very very picky eater on top of that I was and still am very sick (it's not covid I was tested) so I had to be careful but the sauce was amazing. The meat was bursting with juice (you'll definitely need a napkin or two) fries were amazing. I prefer soggy fries but these matched the meal perfectly and come on, it's fries and they have lives beyond my fries, so I said nothing and was content. We barely could eat but we really tried to shake off that bad juju and they were polite which really helped. Plus the manager is pretty cute. Overall for being my very first Canes experience, the amount of stress and fear and anxiety and panic was really soothed. We stayed until before closing time and never felt rushed at all. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has mental health problems or are just going through a really tough time and I plan to visit soon again it...
Read moreI really like their chicken and thats why they get 3 starts instead of 2. I have been here 5 times in the last month or so and 3 times they forgot something. If you order more than these things is where he issues seems to come up. Once they forgot the fries, second they missed a tender and the last they missed the extra cane sauce I ordered. I called back because it was too far to drive and the manager said let me get your name and the next time you are in we will get you the items we missed. Well I went back to trying again and the girl at the drive through said we don't have a list and I just can't give you free food. I asked for a manager and he asked that I pull around front I am sure because I was blocking the drive through. He said I don't know who told you about this list but we don't have one. I said then what do you do if someone calls and says you guys missed something. He said if you come back with your receipt we will get you what was missed. I said what if you don't find out until you get home and its too far to drive back. He said they check the orders and don't miss things very often as he thought I was lying. It is what it is but I don't...
Read moreWent to Cane‘s around 10:40 ordered two box combos and two extra pieces of chicken on the side. We take our order drive home without checking assuming it’s right plus we’re tired. We get home and there’s only one box and one small box with the two fingers so we drive 15 minutes back to Cane’s and the nice kid at the register. Not sure his name but very nicely apologize and helped get our order fixed. He told us that this was the third occurrence today he tried to get the attention of his manager Madi and she ignored him three times very clearly . Finally, my husband wanted to speak to her, not only because of our messed up order which the kind kid at the register helped fix on his own, but to mention how disrespectful it is to ignore a new employee who’s only been here for a month and have him handle a wrong order situation when there’s no one in the lobby and three cars in the drive. so my husband who works in corporate, watching this go down and the manager, Madi ignoring her new younger employee more than once was not a good representation of the company and she should be spoken to by corporate or the store...
