"Where do I even begin? 'Bueno' must be Spanish for 'mediocre at best.' I placed an order for online picku. A beef taco salad and a beef bueno burrito. The food was good, but I asked for queso on it, which I paid extra for-didn’t get it. But now let’s talk about the reason for my review: The service. It was equally impressive; not one customer was in line when I walked in and nobody was eating in the dining room. There were 3 women working in the back, laughing and talking loudly. No biggie, I just thought “good, they’re having fun.” Anyway, when I got to the counter, they glanced up at me several times, walked by with no acknowledgment whatsoever. I felt invisible. So after about 5 minutes of this, I walked over to the salsa bar and got a cup of salsa and cilantro. Walked back over to the counter and guess what? No acknowledgment again. Finally, after about 10 minutes of just standing there, I got the attention of one of them and said “I just have a to go order that I made online.” Crickets Then I asked, “can I get it?” No words to me, she just opened up a door to the warmer, grabbed the bag, placed utensils and cups of salsa in, and without even looking at me and not a word, she handed me the sack and walked away. To say I was disappointed with this type of service would be a gross understatement. This is the Broken Arrow Bueno on New Orleans street across from Taco Bell and Charlie’s Chicken. I won’t be going back to this one even though it’s the closest to my work and my...

Read moreTook 45 minutes sitting in the drive thru (at one point I just stayed to see how long it would take). A total of five of the cars who were waiting with me during that time left from waiting too long.
I finally got to the window and the employee apologized for the wait to which I was fine since dinner rush happens and I asked if maybe they were training a new employee. He said he was actually from another store helping because it was so busy. He then offered a drink for the long wait time and I asked for a bottle of water. I waited about another 5 minutes for the food and was handed a bag. I asked if the water was in the bag and the employee apologizes and gets me ice water in a cup.
I've worked in food before and I understand how hectic things can get when there's a rush, but I also know that when the rush does come, it's all hands on deck and you bust your behind until it cools off again. While I was waiting that five minutes for my food, I saw a lot of standing around, chatting, sipping on sodas while catching up with each other.
I'm sure there's more going on than what my five minute view of the employees and 45 minute total visit could say and I'm sure the workers are just as frustrated with the situation as those five people whose business Taco Bueno lost, but something needs to be done or this store isn't...
