Applebee's Grill + Bar | IHOP — Restaurant in Brookfield

When I walked in I was greeted RIGHT AWAY by Devin(I may have spelled his name wrong) then was seated by (I don’t remember her name but she was just as kind). The energy from the BOTH of them was top tier which you don’t get often from servers (especially the younger ones). So we had Kirra as our server and she was nice as well. So we all ordered our drinks and food BUT they do NOT have EVERYTHING your local Applebees have because it’s private owned. So well got our drinks, then ordered food. When I got my food, the riblets looked like beef jerky strips half sauced and they tasted AWFUL. My potatoes were cold and when I asked to speak to a manager, Kirra went and got her(Tammy), I explained to her the problem and told her I didn’t want what I had so she took it back replacing it with boneless wings (I asked for as a replacement ) and so after waiting a while, I finally got them. They were room temperature and I had to wait on the potatoes because they were being freshly made.😮‍💨 Now at this point I’m over it and had to let Tammy know that the boneless wings were room temp. She replaced them as well with a new order but I just asked for a to go container but Tammy made sure she FIXED the problems we ALL were having PROMPTLY and efficiently but it’s unfortunate that it had to come down to that all because the kitchen staff KEPT MESSING UP. Now was it busy…..NO!!!! You could count the ppl there on both hands. Now the bartender Joyce was on point with the drinks and nice too….lol. Jada was nice as well as she was bringing the food out too but poor Kirra who had to deal with all the EF ups the kitchen kept doing but overall she kept a smile on her face and did her job!!! Now will I go back to this Applebees…….not likely soon but maybe only because Tammy ensured us we would be served better. Now I would do the review for the others but it’s best they do it. Hopefully things get better even though it’s connected to a hotel AND combined with IHOP you’d think it would be pretty decent but uh uh. Those mentioned were VERY PERSONABLE and displayed good customer service despite all the issues. We were understanding about it and everything but they gotta get it together or else the will loose money...

So I came in about a week ago with my daughter and my 2 best friends. Our server Kirra was really sweet and she was absolutely doing her job, but the kitchen stay was absolutely horrible. I had a quesadilla burger and the meat tasted old like it had been sitting out for hours. I spit it out. Asked our waitress kirra to get a manager cause my friends has also had an issue with their food, it was cold and just wasn't given correctly. Tammy came over and she took everything back and asked if we wanted to get anything else, I got honey bbq boneless wings, I took them to go. I can say my drinks were so good though, thanks to Joyce. She was really nice and understanding cause my 2nd drink ended up having a fruit fly in it and she made me another with no issue. Tammy was amazing at trying to resolve the issue, and kirra absolutely did her job but I felt bad for her cause all her orders were not good for us. We told her we know it's not her fault and she was the sweetest. I'm not sure if I'll come back again, it was our first time at this location. Just get some new cooks or either better...

Food portions were small and the food was nothing to rave about. I had to wave down the food staff just to get our order because she went to the wrong table. The noise level in the restaurant was extremely loud. Kids screaming and parents letting their kids run around in the restaurant. But, the worst thing that happened had to be the argument between a waiter and a waitress. We were seated right behind the waitress station. So we heard the whole heated argument. 😳 It was very unprofessional and I wanted to turn around and tell them to take their argument somewhere else. They sounded like two teenagers arguing over whether a waiter was paying enough attention to his tables. Our waiter was awful. He didn't know the menu and had trouble just adding our food order into his iPad for the kitchen. At one point he came to my spouse with a soda and told him "you should probably order a different soda because this one ran out of syrup." He never offered to get my spouse a new soda. He left the soda on our table and walked away. TERRIBLE SERVICE! I would never recommend...
