The the menu at Noodles was, as always, a favorite of my vegan friends. I didn't notice any fermented soy ingredients, which I prefer over regular tofu. They didn't seem to mind. I had a small appetite this time, so I ordered a kids meal of buttered noodles (I'm pretty sure that was real butter, not margarine), apple sauce and apple juice. The buttered noodles were everything I hoped they would be. The apple juice, however, tasted very watered down, which would explain the low calorie count indicated on the outside of the container. My rating of this Noodles location suffers due to an ambiance problem--at just this specific location. It's something they can easily fix, so I hope they do, otherwise I'll just make a point of frequenting other Noodles locations in the area. They need to clean their kitchen cooking equipment. The air in this restaurant was so heavy with the smell of greasy cook stoves that it permeated my clothes, clinging to them long after I left the place. Had to launder everything. Our party of four met there for dinner at 5pm, the evening before Thanksgiving day, and there were only a handful of people there. I arrived a half hour early, and the first thing I noticed was that smell in the air. It was not the aroma of good cooking; it was definitely the odor of a well used grill or frier. Meanwhile, the Noodles in Delafield is awesome. Try that one. One other thing: I noticed that each and every 'big cookie' sold at the counter contained more than one artificial color, including Red #40 and Yellow #5. So unnecessary. It's a cookie; it bakes to just the right color without the help of toxic artificial colors. These were chocolate chip and...
Read moreI absolutely love going to noodles and company. I've always had wonderful experience but this time at the brookfeild location I did not have a great experience. From the moment I walked in the door, the cashier had his eyes glued to his phone. Did not acknowledge me at all. I stood at the register for a second or so waiting for him to get off his phone so I could order. He continued to be on it while I was paying. I never ever have had someone be so glued to their phone while being at a register. He had his headphones in too and I noticed all the other staff had them in too . They didn't acknowledge customers not just me while I was waiting for my order I noticed the kid continuing to be on his phone while helping other people. It was the longest ive ever waited for my food there and when my take out was ready the worker didnt read a name just quickly put it in my hand and walked away. I will say, Its so unfortunate that this generation is so stuck on their phone, even when working customer service. I absolutely love the food at noodles and company, but I will not be returning to this location again . I like to feel acknowledged and get good service when I go to places. That's what makes people...
Read moreThey burned my noodles? Lol…
This is the first time I’ve ever gotten noodles where they burned my noodles… also when I walked in no one greeted me. I just stood there like a deer in headlights while the blonde girl packed to-go orders. She looks all bothered and irritated, like she’s sick of her job. Not friendly at all, throwing people’s orders on the table after screaming their name and walking away in a huff. Who you putting on this show for?
Anyway, it’s not hard to say “I’ll be with you in a second.” But observing her passive aggressive behavior I think that ship has sailed. Also at 6 o clock she’s aggressively putting chairs on top of the tables to close for the night. How inviting for customers. Oh wait, she doesn’t care.
Someone just said “thank you!” To this girl and no response. People like this ruin restaurants and a company’s image.
I would personally fire her and recommend she get a warehouse job instead where she doesn’t have to...
