I was told about this place from a coworker and I was excited to check it out. I started coming here about 6 months ago when they were at the smaller location and never had an issues.
When they moved location and hired on more ppl is when I started having the issues. I went there the day after the grand opening when it was less busy and I asked how much a Louis Vuitton bag was and they told me want to say it was $1500 so I said okay thanks the girl looked new so she asked if I wanted to see it closer and the owner was sitting down looking at tHe entire transaction and very loudly and rude she said âwhy would you show it to her if she doesnât have the money to buy itâ. I was shocked that she would say that especially that rude but honestly I didnât say anything just gave her a look. I went to buy what I was there for and asked about selling my stuff there to the same girl which was super bubbly and cheerful. She said we accept name brand clothes blah blah blah the whole speech. I came back a month later to bring a bin of purses (coach, MK ect) and a huge bin of clothes. They said they would text me back in an hour with the results so I go back later that night and I take my niece and sister in law to check out clothes mentor. They start roaming around because I told them they could find nice things there so they were excited and I went to the same girl that helped me out last time except she wasnât so bubbly and nice this time. Todo her I was here I left some stuff earlier and she puts the two bins on the counter and said these things are too used so weâre not taking ANY of it but thanks for considering us. I was super annoyed but I wasnât going to cause a scene I had my niece there and she was excited to shop. It was 7:58 and my niece was still in the dressing room and the same girl comes up to us and says weâre closing in 2 minutes so I can start ringing you out now. I took her my niece was changing and she just had to wait until we were done so she had a snippy attitude. I just really hated how they treated us and me after taking the clothes and they wasted my time. She labeled it as mall brands and said it was Platoâs closet material. Like Iâm sorry but youâre store is a thrift store also a lot of the clothes looks old, some of it has holes and a lot of the shoes are very used not lightly used. So do I think they are biased yes I do! Wouldnât go back tbh I was super disappointed with the service I received and the snotty Iâm too good for you attitude.
Humble yourself because like I said this is a branch of a thrift store and do better treating all people the same not just Caucasian older white women that look like...
Read moreI learned about this place on Google, although I tried to stay away from consignment stores because they Give you way more less than what you paid for the item. However, I wanted to give it a try because it has been a few years.
I took a Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM , Gucci Glasses & a Gucci Belt . The Gucci glasses and Gucci belt have only been worn one time in the course of a year. The purse had more wear, but still was in great shape. Just needed some cleaning on the inside.
I dropped off the items and was told that it had to go through a third-party verification to ensure the authenticity of the items. I still have the dust bag for all items and Iâve had the receipt for the purse as well as the belt. I informed the girl at the front who is very helpful that if I needed to get the receipt for the glasses that I can go to Tower, optical, and get the receipt.
I left and allowed them enough time to do everything that they needed to do which in total she told me will take an hour and 30 minutes and I will receive a text message when my transaction was complete.
They denied purchasing the purse, because thread from the handle was coming loose, which is understandable. I can take that to get fixed because I have the receipt. The glasses, she stated were slightly bent a little which also I can go and take to get fixed so understandable. However, the Gucci belt that is authentic that has the dust bag that has the serial number and the car that they give you after you purchase it. The total was $500. I purchased it last year May 2022.
This is where I begin to be a bit frustrated I was offered $92 even for a $500 authentic Gucci belt. I was so shocked by the price offering because many of the items in the store are not presentable. Many of the shoes look very worn, as well as some of the clothes, look very outdated and out of season.
I try not to look at it as a biased response or reaction but that is what I was getting that entire time. As someone who doesnât mind spending money in places. I think that it is certainly insane and crazy that I would accept $92 even for a $500 belt only for it to be sold for almost the same amount that Iâve paid for it.
Based on the type of customer service that I got from the cashier is the only reason that Iâm giving it two stars, Otherwise, it would most certainly have one star.
I am super disappointed in my experience when it comes to the pricing in the buying and looking at other comments, it seems as if it only happens to people who look...
Read moreI took a large amount of clothing in to try and sell. They explained to me how it works and I agreed to see what they would take. I ran errands while they looked through my items and was excited to see how much I could make. When I got the text they were finished I quickly ran back! They explained they were able to take some items and offered me $135. I was actually excited as so many of my friends tried to sell here and were offered $3. I agreed, loaded my stuff they didnât take and went on with my day. After pondering on this amount for several days, I feel completely taken advantage of. They âboughtâ 43 items, that equals $3.13 per item. Iâm not a math wizard.. but if I understand that they price the items at a 1/3 of what they retail for and give you 20-30% of that⌠I would say I was robbed. For example, there was a brand new DKNY puffy winter jacket⌠so that would sell for $6.00 brand new? A free people sweater worn once⌠that would also sell brand new for $6. The math isnât mathing⌠Iâm honestly really sad as I was excited to have found this place and make extra money for clothes I grew out of. While I appreciate making some extra money I absolutely feel robbed. The amount of items vs what they gave me just isnât sitting right with me. I feel like an idiot for agreeing to the amount, looking back on it. I feel like they look through your items, take things they would want personally (for free) then just make up a random number for your offer. They give you an itemized receipt of each item they bought, but it doesnât have a price they âboughtâ it for. I absolutely wonât return to sell items here again. It actually makes me sick to my stomach thinking back on all of the awesome items they âboughtâ for the price they gave me. I wouldâve made more having a yard sale. After reading several other reviews I certainly will never return here to...
