Went here today with my boys. We were excited to try it. We were told it was a 30-40 minute wait. Once we were called it took awhile for our waiter to come to our table. Once he finally arrived he quickly took our order and everything was fine. Once we received our food it took sometime to get service because he was so busy at other tables. I had to ask two other waiters for extra napkins and refills on drinks. When he finally came back he asked if I had paid for our meal on the tablet which was on the table to pay. I was Insulted and appalled he would ask this while I’m putting food in my mouth finishing my meal! The manager came around and took away the piled up dishes that were left on our table that we had to work around and the waiter never cleared. We had planned to stay for dessert but the waiter never came back, never asked us if we wanted dessert or said thank you, anything. I get your busy but being rude on top of slow service…we won’t be back. Should have went to Culver’s and paid way less. On top of that when we were walking in the waiter that seated us put our utensils with her bare hand on top of a plate. Who knows where her hands were! So unsanitary and I’m glad we didn’t need to use them. Then as we were walking out the same person that seated us today chases me out the door asking for a cup back from my 5 year old son! We thought the cup was disposable and didn’t think twice about it. I mean I get that it was a dish but to chase us down like we stole something?!? We damn near paid for that cup with the over priced food! It was a cup! Not that serious to chase us down and so embarrassing!!! Next time maybe consider offering a disposable cup to a 5 year old child instead of asking for a cheap cup back!!! That could...
Read moreWe had not been to Red Robin for a year or more - it seemed like the food was not worth the cost. But, with a 15% off coupon, Red Robin seemed like a viable take out option. Ordered online via Postmates which did not accept the Red Robin 15% coupon. No problem, surely Red Robin will honor their OWN coupon when I pick up the food. WRONG - Red Robin would not honor the coupon because of I had ordered through Postmates. The store manager did not come to the front to discuss this issue. Left because I had people waiting at home for food. Filed a Guest Feedback comment with Red Robin explaining the aforementioned situation. Was told on June 23rd that my comments were shared with the local Red Robin GM and the Regional Operations Director for Red Robin in Brookfield WI. As of July 26, 2020, I have heard nothing from Red Robin regarding this situation. I even filed a second Guest Feedback comment with Red Robin. That comment was basically tossed away by the Guest Relations Specialist. In light of this unacceptable lack of communication on the part of Red Robin Management, and the poor value of their products, I will forever be a Red Robin detractor. I will not eat there again. I will instead continue to frequent the locally owned Culver's where the burgers are better tasting and you get a better value for your money. From now on Red Robin, you can take you coupons and stick them
in someone...
Read moreI firmly believe in recognizing the businesses who do well and the businesses that don't, to help others. On 7/1, a Friday night (albeit, busy time) I placed an order through grubhub (changing the location manually to ensure it went to a specific location- Brookfield, WI)with some modifications to the order the restaurant was supposed to be aware of. The order came and modifications had not been followed. I called, spoke with a female manager who apologized profusely for the miscommunication and assured me if I placed the order again, it would be correct. So I did. For the second time, it came prepared without appropriate modifications. Now fuming, I contacted the restaurant and spoke with the same manager. She apologized, stating she had everything set and turned her back for a moment and it was gone. Out of pure principle, given I clearly wasn't eating it tonight, I ordered for a THIRD time This time, the order was correct, she had also given extra of the requested items, as well as a dessert. Each container had an apology on it. The extras and dessert were nice, and above, but what really made the difference was the hand written apologies on the containers. Mistakes are made, but little things, like taking the time to do that, as well as taking ownership of the mistakes, is what makes a good restaurant great. Well...
