Broma's Deli - Brookhaven — Restaurant in Brookhaven

I recently moved back to Mccomb from Jackson and I was so excited to go get some food from Bromas! I work in Brookhaven so that's the resteraunt I decided to go to after work. At 8:11 pm in placed my order. The lady who took my order seemed like she was ready to leave which I understand.. It took her a while to get my order because she was elsewhere and not at the register. Nevertheless she took my order.. Assumed I was dining in.. Alone.. And Gave me a number. I let her know that I was wanting the meal to go and she said she would let the kitchen know. I prepared my sweet tea and waited. And waited and waited. I watched a family of 5 ,who placed their order after mine, sit down and eat. My ticket says my order was placed at 8:11 pm. A lady who was mopping saw me waiting and obviously noticed I was there a while and got my food. This was around 8:51. Forty minutes. I know Bromas is not fast food but I expected quicker, better service. The wrap I ordered was lukewarm at best. Broma chips also. The first time I ordered this particular wrap at the Bromas in Mccomb I remember that I loved it so much I had it for lunch and came back to Bromas and had another rap for dinner. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of chili instead of chips, fries or fruit. I don’t know what they gave me but it definitely wasn’t chili. NASTY!! The bread on the grilled chicken was hard, when I asked the worker about it I was told it supposed to be like that. They tried to charge me for a drink for my 1 year old. Because the waitress saw him drinking out of my cup. STUPID! Especially since I didn’t even get a refill or take the cup of drink with me when I left. The service was sub par. Don’t think we were “they’re type” of customers. Had two families come in after us, that were greeting and walked to their table after ordering. but when we walked in someone said “for here or to go”. And we were definitely not seated. When the lady finished our order she walked off. We found a table, sat for 40 minutes waiting on our food while the other two families that came in behind us were already getting their food. When I asked the lady about our food she commented “oh you’ll have to wait cuz we’re busy with other customers and...

UPDATE: WOW. NEVER COMING BACK. Turns out lying and bad service aren’t enough. It been well over a year since eating here and now they are charging credit card fees because they don’t know how to run a business. NEVER COMONG BACK.

We LOVEd Bramas. However, service has steadily gone down hill since covid hit and has not recovered.

Tonight I ordered a sandwich and paid. They came to our table as soon as we sat down to say they were out of my sandwich. I asked for my money back and they immediately came back to say they could make it after all. About 5 minutes later they come back and say they can make my sandwich but they are out of salami to which I replied, “then you can’t make my sandwich”.

It’s pretty pathetic that bramas has resorted to lying so that they don’t have to refund an order. An in case you are wondering, no, not a single person involved bothered to apologize.
