Dragon Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in Brookhaven

This place is not good, even in it's own peer group (take-out Chinese) they are on the "never eat again list" after what they served me today. I'm on my 3rd Gas-X pill now, thank you. If an actual Dragon ever stopped by this palace and tasted the food it would belch and burn the place to the ground! Allow me to provide a proper review however.

Appetizer - Chicken Teriyaki Sticks - Not Good, it may help to change the oil in your fryer more than once a year. My cat, who would snuff you out in your sleep for fast food chicken, wouldn't even taste yours!! When I saw her reaction to that, I threw mine in the trash. It tasted like a salt lick greasy funnel cake you get at one of those traveling carnivals. Mind you it's supposed to taste like chicken!

Soup - Hot and Sour - Not Good, you should change the name to Hot and Hot soup because after putting out my tongue in the Chobani I could not remember notes of sour from that experience. It may have something to do with the fact that you need actual lemon grass in your soup to produce the "sour" aspect of it. If you use the right ingredients you don't have to load it up with fat, sodium and enough hot sauce to power your restaurant for a day. That's after you remove the 1/4" layer of grease from whatever that was you call soup.

Fried Noodles for Said Soup - You would think this one would be easy but guess again. Thanks for selling me the fried noodles from what most likely was last week sometime. Nothing fried should ever taste stale!! Very Bad!! Again change your oil out!

Entree - Chicken Teriyaki - (Yes, I do like teriyaki) - The chicken used in this one was much better. Freezer to wok instead of fryer on this yea? When your menu says "Teriyaki Sauce" it may help to not server teriyaki water. It did make for a better soup than the hot and sour however. Couldn't chew the frozen broccoli however the mushrooms were fairly tasty. All the other vegetables must have been on strike cause they weren't there.

2 Liter of Sprite - OMG, this was the best tasting Sprite I have ever had!! A+++ Spot On!!

Btw your shady driver who acted like he only had 20's and 10's so as to not provide change who then after learning that was all I had produced 1's and 5's from the other pocket was still tipped appropriately due to pure entertainment and points for trying to get his hustle on!! He did get the food here on time though, hence the two stars.

Food was ok, but took over an hour to arrive (restaurant is 11 minutes away) and my delivery person was SO, unbelievably rude.

I was visiting a friend’s apartment, so I ordered the food to her place. I accidentally switched the numbers around when typing her apartment number into the order form, so the delivery person called to confirm the apartment number. We told him the correct number, and that should have been the end of it. Instead, as soon as I opened the door, he pointed at the receipt and barked the incorrect apartment number at me. I didn’t understand what he meant at first, so I smiled and said, “That’s me.” He pointed at the receipt again, brought it closer to my face, and practically yelled the incorrect number at me again. Scolding me over a mistake. I understood this time, so I apologized, but by that time he was turning around and stomping away. Completely unacceptable way to treat customers.

Earlier, when I called the restaurant to confirm that my order was even coming, the woman working the phone asked me to hold and I could clearly hear her on the phone with another customer apologizing because the restaurant messed up their order too....

This place has edible food (or at least what we ordered), but the service is the worst ever. Let me state right now that I wouldn't order from there ever again, even if I hadn't eaten in four days. They are terrible. They are the worst.

My boyfriend and I placed an order over the phone and were told it would take 45 minutes. 2 hours later, the driver arrives with the totally wrong order. He came back to get the food, not bringing the correct food with him. I called to cancel the order and was told we couldn't get a refund because "the computer people" have the money. It took me a while to realize she thought we'd placed the order online when we hadn't.

When the food arrived, minus the eggrolls that had been ordered and paid for, I called again. The woman immediately started arguing with me about how the order had been placed, without even asking for more details to make sure she was thinking of the correct order. She just repeatedly talked over me, telling me I was wrong, then told me she would call back, which, of course, she hasn't. We still don't have our eggrolls and I'm sure we won't get the refund unless we go down to...
