We went into the waffle house to eat a late dinner. Going in, only 2 tables had customers(1table was already eating), and the high top had 2 people. We sat at the high table. There was 1 Cook, and 1 waitresse. The cook decided to have a melt down and saying he won't cook any more orders.then demanding people to.leave. the back booth with the people already gave thier food order. But he told them they had to.leave He said he was shutting down waffle house and locking the door cause it was just him and 1 waitress. I could see if he was over blown with customer but he was not. I could understand if there was only standing room but it wasn't. When you go through trying on being a cook, at least when I worked years ago, you learn depending on your shift on what volume cooking is about. At times, you don't have help and u might need to do it yourself. But u never close a wh. You call your shift manage, manager or area manager. Let them find you help. That is part of thier job. If they cannot get help, then they are REQUIRED to bring thier butts into work. If they don't, they do not deserve thier position. I have worked, and trained the highest volume WH stores in GA. I had to be temporarily management, trainer and all positions, so I know what I'm talking about. His behavior was not good. I get it when you feel overwhelmed, but ask for help. Get on the phone and demand help. Now the waitress lost money to feed her family because of him. They depend on tips. Cooks get paid . So he didn't loose money. Just her and the company. The district managers of unit #922 need to get help to thier employees. If not, they need to pick up a apron, roll up thier sleeves along with the managers. If they cannot get help, corporate needs to help. Don't laugh....when your a high volume store, corporate managers we trained. They came to the stores during different shifts to train. You have to train from the bottom up. They have enough manpower to help thier stores out. They need to get thier people help when they feel overwhelmed. Put your employees first, and you will get dedication.

Waffle House has always been a part of the holidays for me as well as the brunt of plenty of late-night jokes. The reality is that most people can’t help but eat there, even if they won’t admit it. Now that I’m plant-based, it’s actually still a great option. Double hash browns, scattered, smothered, diced, peppered and capped. I get the potential for meat cross-contamination and there’s probably some butter involved but who cares? #plantbased@wafflehouse #gritsarecrack The entire staff was totally there for the Christmas day crowd. Awesome attitudes and the service was incredible. Thank you to everyone working there today for sacrificing their holiday for everyone else that just couldn’t help themselves.

Thank you for the great experience this morning! My wife is a nurse and has to work today, Thanksgiving, so I decided to take my 10 month old son for his first WaHo experience. It couldn’t have been a better one! The place was lively with good old school music playing, fully staffed, and bustling with customers. We were greeted with a hearty and enthusiastic “Happy Thanksgiving!” when we walked in. The service and food were great and quick. The enthusiasm of the leaders and team members was the best part! Probably the best experience I’ve had in a restaurant in 2 years. Create the right culture through the right leaders and you won’t be understaffed! Thank you Waffle House crew! Happy Thanksgiving!

My son and I went in and the greeter said it would be about 5 to 10 min.wait , but there were seats at the counter so we sat there. This one waiter never acknowledged us never greeted us just keep severing and waiting on others that had came in after us, then finally one walk over and said I can help you but this is not my section we finally got a napkin and silverware water for me coffee for my son and took our order, while waiting on our food my son ask for another cup of coffee and when he got it the coffee was cold he ask a waiter and the one that never even look at us but we were in he's section said to my son I'll get your waiter but he was serving coffee to all the other people that were sitting in his section, after he served other there food that came in after us me and my son decided to leave because after 25 min.we still haven't got our food, I will never go back again poor customer service. This man that was supposed to wait on us never even look at us and never said a word to us ,and we were in his section he totally looks over us on propose. He needs to be reported and fired because I heard from other that he does this just to wait on his every day customers that paid big tips. but that is not good customer services at all. Me and my son are African-American and so were the cooks and waiter, but they just keep severing the white people first, keep putting there orders in front of our until we realize what was going on and we left ,and I will never go too that waffle house again. That heavy set black waiter was so rude to us.i let them know on my way out how I felt about it all, they were all behind the counter waiters. and cooks saying were sorry. How should they be so sorry for the way one waiter is in there treating others, they know what he is doing because he's having them put orders before the other orders. You know this is going on because that's why the cooks were saying there were sorry because it has happened many times before. And there letting him get...

Been here multiple times and every time is a bad experience. Most recently I placed a to go order and went to pick it up 20 min later. The food was sitting there waiting and I expected to pay and leave but the card reader all of a sudden went down. The first waitress told me the situation and called over the District Manager, Cameron and he tried to fix the issue. Basically I stood there with a line of other customers behind me for 20 min while Cameron tried to make the card reader work by restarting it over and over again. He never said he was sorry or gave an explanation on the situation. All he kept saying was “no it’s not working” and shook his head. My food was right there and everyone behind me had already eaten. I finally walked out but that was horrible customer service. He didn’t even offer to comp my meal or anything, let alone give an explanation. What about the customers who already ate there food? They just have to wait and hope it works or they get their food for free? Horrible customer service, I will...
