Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Brookhaven

It's sad to see this location go down. I past by the one on N. Druid Hills which is less than two miles from my house to come to this one which is a lot farther. The customer service used to be good and the food was always cooked fresh and to your specifications. Now, especially the night crew, it's like you're bothering them. They seem like they hate their jobs and it shows in their service.

I just went ahead returned the food that I ordered like two weeks ago because the manager on duty who knows my order so well he recognizes when we haven't been in a while decided he didn't understand what "well done" meant all of a sudden (his response, "What does she mean by well done?" Which is crazy from someone who not even a month ago told me he hadn't seen me in to get my "specific" order). When I came back in to return it, he was VERY rude, it was almost funny. He gave processed my refund and just walked off - no here is your receipt, no details on what to do with the returned food - just walked off.

Everyone has a bad day so I decided to try one more time because I've had so many non incident visits. I order at the end of last week and I always ask for a side of Seasoning because I like to control my salt intake on the fries so I guess they thought it would be funny to just DUMP Seasoning on the fries - Pic attached. Hands down the best Zaxby's I've ever been to, and I've been to my fair share. From start to finish it was a great experience. James (who is the manager) took our order and just had an amazing attitude. The food was so good I had to ask who made it and was told that Anthony and Shayla were in the back, and Marba helped expo it. Seriously the food was so fresh and came out exactly as we ordered it. Finally, Grover was loving the front of the restaurant proactively offering to help anyone who needed it, getting refills for folks and cleaning the tables, and checking with every table to make sure they were good. The restaurant itself is also bright and immaculate...a different vibe than "Classic Zaxby's" but I like it. So thankful that this is my new local Zaxby's!

It is a bit of a pain to get in and out of but you can use the Quicktrip next door if you need to to make things easier. This has always been an issue with this location but that is why I'm leaving this review. This Zaxby's is worth any hassle to...

I expected more from this location being that it’s new. I was in the area and decided to stop and order. I wish I would have kept driving! I hate paying for food that looks played over. They gave me burnt boneless chicken with hot honey mustard sauce thrown on top. I always order this meal and this was the worse presentation and service I’ve had so far. No sauce for the chicken. Smh! It tasted like crispy traditional wings. Not juicy tender chicken with a light crisp on the outside. The pic I attached is after I asked her to remove the pieces that were black burnt but I still wasn’t satisfied based on what I know it should look and taste like!

My kids were given kid meals with literally 5 fries. I’m so disappointed as I was hungry! Total waste of $25! I won’t recommend...
