sushi express is where I go want I don't want to mess around with my dinner. The fish has been fresh the last six or seven times I've been and I don't think i've ever waited longer than 15 minutes. The tables are like bar tables(kind of high) and only sit 3 people, 4 if you squeeze, but people move through quick. If you're looking for a place that has a lot of fancy rolls or a quiet romantically lit atmosphere then your probably in the wrong spot. However, if you don't mind choosing from only a dozen or so fancy rolls (plus all the standard ones) or you've been dating that special someone for a while than this is your place to go. I've had rolls twice as expensive 7-8 dollars for a regular maki roll compared to 3-4 at sushi express at other places that didn't measure up. I'm thinking Sushi express is one of the few tasty affordable sushi places...

Not a sushi place I would go again. Ordered takeout, only 30min.s elapsed from placing order, pick up, to having the food, but the tempura in one of the rolls was very cold and greasy, it’s likely been fried and let sit for hours without anything done before serving it, also the batter’s not the right consistency; on top of that the avocado’s greenish-brown already. On the other roll, the description had a focus on scallops but on the actual roll there’re very few strips of the scallop and pile high of imitation crab meat. The rice on both rolls are quite mushy than well separated. Only good one was the tofu salad where the lettuce’s crisp and fresh. Overall not a good experience, but the lady on the phone taking the order’s very nice...

I did not eat the food. I never got a chance. This is because of the poor customer service.

On March 2, 2021, I ordered delivery through ChowNow. I was called by the restaurant and asked if I could come and pick up my order instead because it was too far away (about 3 miles).

I asked the lady to cancel the order if it couldn't be delivered due to me being at work and not being able to leave. She told me I needed to go through ChowNow to cancel.

I questioned the lady about my delivery not being within range--pressing to know if it was a matter of them simply not wanting to bring it to me. She laughed and said, "Yes, more convenient for me and more convenient for you."

I let her know that she lost a customer forever and ended the...

My husband and I were so pleased with our meal here during our stay in Boston! Lovely service, and EXCELLENT food for the price. You can tell how much pride they take in their restaurant. Our meal was about half the cost of other sushi places, but better than what I’ve had in a long time! My husband got the chicken ramen (the broth was incredible) and I got a sushi combo, which came with a small salad, miso soup, and a drink. The sushi was wonderful, and the rice was seasoned perfectly and so soft and fresh. If we’re ever in the neighborhood again, we know where we’re going for lunch!

The Maki rolls were fine. It seemed very hastily rolled and the look of it wasn’t quite very nice but it tasted OK. I liked the California roll and the Eel and eggroll. I also got the eel roll on its own and it was very small compared to the other ones. Overall it was an OK dinner. I’m not sure if I would be ordering here again but what be interested to see what it’s like in person.

We ordered food via ubereats there was metal in the tuna, salmon was spoiled and even the salad was as if it was sitting out all day the lady offered me 2 free rolls in the future saying they were busy and the chef had to improvise what’s that suppose to mean?… awful awful awful experience I am going to order from Fins next time. Shrimp Tempura was good though…
