If you live in or visit Massachusetts, then you know well that there is a plethora of Italian & Pizza Restaurants.
I recently discovered a new favorite: T Anthony. They’re across the street from BU- so you know it has to be good if the students patronize the establishment.
They have a solid menu. I do wish it was a little bit bigger and a bit more detailed. The food is solid. They have a nice selection of appetizers, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, subs, salads, wraps, and seafood.
My personal favorite is their pizza. The pizza is always cooked perfectly. The sauce is perfect- not too acidic and not too sweet. Plenty of fresh, delicious cheese and pepperoni. Given the structure of the pizza, I would not go past three toppings.
Aside from the pizza, I certainly have more exploration to do with their menu! But for the price, the pizza is unbeatable. The crust, sauce, and toppings all come together to create an amazing pizza.
I’m from Chicago, so pizza is a big deal. I’m very picky. T Anthony knows how to make a solid pizza. I’ll admit it: I actually enjoy it more than Chicago-style thin crust!
I’m excited to be heading back to town. You can guarantee I’ll be enjoying a pie from T Anthony my first week back!
Keep up the great work and solid,...
Read moreOpen decently late for Boston, and when you don’t have the option to pick up your favorite from the the handful of exceptionally good pizza selections in and around the Boston area due to the shamefully senior citizenesque hours kept by pretty much every restaurant that would be someone’s first choice, T Ants is head and shoulder’s above the competing parlors. I want to point out that a very clear distinction should be made between T Anthony’s quality of food vs. the other late night take out places being that while perhaps not the most flavorful, original, or noteworthy in some particular way of pizza creating, T Anthony’s serves up a pie you’d happily enjoy consuming without the aid of being intoxicated and in need of anything that tastes like grease to make you whole. If your in the Brighton/Allston area and hungry after midnight, save yourself the pain of ordering from one of the 2am places and go get a very much enjoyable taste of T’s. These other spots wouldn’t be in business if it weren’t for the saving grace of the countless universities proving a customer base too lazy to complain and drunk enough to not realize they should not accept being charged hefty sums for something that takes...

I lived in Allston for over 30 yrs- moved outta Allston 2 yrs ago. T Anthony’s has always been one of my top spots for takeout. Came back today to see that management has changed as there are a ton of new faces. Particularly this rude Asian lady taking orders at the front. I specify her race in case there’s another woman who works there.
Today will be the last time I order food from T Anthony’s. This woman was extremely rude and passive aggressive. When I paid for the order, she began to speak Chinese and slammed my change on counter. Not to mention was literally the most COMPLICATED order I’ve ever placed. As she could not intentionally, move slower.
It’s unfortunate- the ORIGINAL staff were always pleasant when taking orders, patient and actually KNEW how to TAKE orders. Not sure why the change in management- but the previous staff were STAPLES in the BU community.
If she continues to be the “face” of takeout orders, T Anthony’s will continue to be trash given her attitude and lack of customer...
