ZA'TAR Mediterranean Cuisine (Glatt Kosher) — Restaurant in Brookline

I saw the advertise on my instagram and decided to drive with my kids 50 mins. They charged me extra for each food that I ordered without my consent just because I used a credit card. I told the girl at the front why is the price for each food different on my receipt than the menu price and that it’s not fair to me. Why do these restaurants always want cash and have a problem with a credit card. What are they trying to hide? Taxes? As far as the food went, the Chicken pita and Beef pita were not the best. The beef pita was not tender at all. The Kebab plate and fries were good. The place was extremely noisy because of wild kids throwing themselves on the floor and playing around and yelling. I didn’t see the owner tell them anything but instead I saw a lady that was working there talking to the kid’s Moms as if she knew them. We ordered take out from Za’tar and it was incredibly disappointing. A $20 house salad with chicken had flavorless chicken strange chicken (like low quality chicken), was the size of a side salad, had not even the equivalent of 1 plum tomato, not even a 1/4 of a cucumber and that’s it, for $20. My boyfriend got the chicken pita with baba ghanoush and salad as the sides. Apparently they were in pita but it just looked like a bunch of parsley and rice? We ordered a side of fries, they were definitely frozen and barely cooked. I called for a refund and they offered me another salad. I just wanted my $50 back.
