I ordered a pecan apple salad through the mobile app. I checked the ingredients/toppings twice because I am a picky eater. I arrived and picked up the food then went back to work to eat it. Once I opened it, I realized that there was grilled chicken and blue cheese, which I hadn't seen on the ingredient list. I returned to this restaurant to let them know my salad was made wrong. I go up to the cash register and politely tell them, "Hey, I got a salad earlier today, but it was made wrong. It has blue cheese and grilled chicken." The lady at the register says in a clipped tone, "Yes, it comes with that." I was surprised and said, "Oh, I didn't know because I didn't see it on the website". Again, in an annoyed tone, she says, "Yeah, it's on the website." I said "oh, okay". She tells me that they can remake the salad. I said that it was okay. I tell the lady that the phone number on the website and on the receipt wasn't dialing through and it would just beep, but not ring. She tells me that she will tell her manager that and asks if she can bring the receipt. I said of course, that'd be great. While she's telling her manager, I hear two other crew members about 10 feet away from me talking about me. One is filling in the other one how I mistakenly thought the salad was made wrong. The other one says sarcastically, "It's on the website! Read the fine print. It's not that hard." The two crew members continue to talk terribly about me and make me feel very stupid. I could clearly hear them and I hadn't been rude when I tried returning the salad so I wasn't sure what the issue was. I even declined the remade salad because it had been my fault and not theirs. The first lady returns and tells me that she told her manager that the number wasn't working and the manager said that they knew that. It seemed like they weren't going to do much about the phone number not working properly. I did go on the website again for the third time and they were right, it is definitely there in the ingridents list. Im not sure how I missed twice, but I did. Anyways, all I have to say is that my experience was very unprofessional and the lack of customer service was embarrassing. Embarrassing because they made me feel embarrassed, but the experience was also embarrassing because of how they...
Read moreWell, this review is based on comparison to other fast food restaurants in the McDonald's category and also based on the breakfast menu.
Usually I put McDonald's and Burger King on the same level in quality for the breakfast food items and depending on my particular craving for the potato item.
From where I live both restaurants are about the same distance from the house; so it's that toss up on the style of potato. But recently McDonald's just can't get an order right and it seems like the sausage and biscuit are thinner for the recent price increases.
For the first time I went to Wendy's for breakfast only because I was passing by and it was either turn left into the driveway for McDonald's or right into Windy's. Quick choice left or right. I went for the unknown, Wendy's.
The meal, biscuit with sausage patty and egg accompanied by potato slices was the choice of the day. And for fast food breakfast it beat both of the other two. Tasty egg seemed like it was fried on the grill, not microwaved like the other two places.
Coffee was good; almost like Dunkin' Donuts ( ok it's Dunkin's now) If you know what Dunkin's is the you know what I'm talking about.
So my target when a fast food breakfast is called for I'm heading...
Read moreI have love/hate feeling for THIS location. It's usually my open-late-last -resort place to go. I honestly love Wendy's burgers and I am a fan of their pretzel buns BUT, I often get my food made wrong here. Sometimes they miss particulars when I place the order( ketchup only, or large combo over regular) and sometimes I just get the wrong order all together. I have had some issue (one circumstance in particular) trying to get my order fixed/replaced. In that instance I asked for a pretzel bun on a Dave's original burger, and I received the classic bun instead. I noticed immediately and took my bag inside to ask for what I ordered. Mind you, it was a busy lunch rush and I had a large order and was given no receipt to check I'd been charged for the pretzel bun at all. The encounter I had with the staff wasn't very pleasant and left me aggravated. I honestly do like Wendy's food but I should warn you to check your orders before departure and always ask for the receipt at...
