So I had not been to Rush Bowls and didn't really know what to think. I ordered a Dragon bowl and a Bow Wow bowl. I can't say that I was happy with the ordering experience as I could not hear the girl at the counter over all of the noise from the blenders, they were very close but it's a really small shop so they were probably about as far away as they could be. Moving on, this is really cold, like extra cold but okay. So best I can say is it's like a smoothie with toppings in a cup, it's pretty small to be calling it a bowl. That does explain why I saw smoothies on the menu. I thought it was very flavorful but ate it very slowly to avoid a brain freeze. This is summer time food in my opinion. The Bow Wow bowl was rejected by my pup but she is all over the Pawbender at Good Times. They are very similar. I didn't think there was anything that she wouldn't eat. Go figure. So to wrap this up it's a paws down from the dog and I don't really see this as more than a high priced small smoothie in a cup. I doubt that I will go back, especially since I am still wanting for something to eat. I will just go across the street to Jamba Juice and spend half the money and get a much bigger smoothie since that's really what I thought this was. To each their own...
Read moreI love the bowls options which is why I keep coming back. BUT the customer service and seemingly understaffed environment has made me really question whether to go there anymore. This is not a one time problem, it’s happened more times at this point than I can count. Routinely, the bowls take way too long to be made despite nearly always ordering online ahead of time, and I will see customers that got there after me getting their their bowls before mine. It seems there is also a major problem too with the employees being trained on how to prioritize orders. Worst instance lately - I placed an online order at 8:45 stating we would be there at 9am to pick it up. We walked in the door at 9:01. I don’t think we left with our bowls until about 9.40. I mean, the employees are nice, but that’s absolutely insane for a smoothie bowl that takes no time to make. They apologized to me at one point but then did not start to make my order until later. Last complaint- small, but irritating but not what I pay for - at least 3 times now I have paid for extra granola at the bottom of the bowl only to be given granola on the side instead because they forgot about it. It’s Not what I paid for and is not as easy to...
Read moreI went in to get a bowl today. First time customer. Bowls are about $11. I stated I have celiac disease and can not have gluten or cross contamination. They made my bowl with glutened granola and i asked for them to remake it. .....they remade my bowl with the non cross contaminated granola. As they hand me my new bowl the employee states their blenders are cross contaminated.......ok so I still cannot consume it and im not sure why they even remade a bowl i cant even eat.....I left without being able to eat anything and no refund?
On top of that, another little girl around 5 years old was in line and heard me mention celiacs disease and that she also had it. The employees gave her a cross contaminated bowl without warning her mom! I found out after they left. These employees are not well trained and 110% made a little child sick today ( and will be sick for days) . I absolutely do not recommend for people with gluten allergies /celiacs disease. It...
