Fina's Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Brownsville

It’s upsetting when you realize how Señora Fina and her daughter could care less when a situation occurs that affects their customer. We have been loyal customers for over 20 years. My mother was very upset and called me today because one of the ladies named Sol was cleaning the restroom and left Clorox all over the sink. As Sol went to the Men’s restroom, my mother assumed that the restroom was ready although she had no idea their was Clorox all over the sink. My mother went in to wash her hands. Sadly, due to their employee’s laziness, my mother stained her $60 blouse she just purchased two weeks ago. After my mother paid, she addressed the issue to the owners and they NEVER once apologized or acknowledged their employee’s lack of work ethic. It’s not about the shirt, it’s about the customer service. And it’s unfortunate that after being loyal for so many years, this just comes to show that the owners only care about getting your money, and NOT making it right. We would hate to stop going back because this is one of our favorite restaurants, however this action made us feel unworthy of...

I use to like ordering from this restaurant until I ordered a bacon with egg taco. The bacon was not fully cooked and as soon as I bit into the taco it was awful. I called and told a lady my bad experience and she just said sorry. She hung up on me while I was still talking. I called back and asked why she hung up on me. She said she thought I was done talking. I asked for her name and she wouldn't give it to me and then finally she said she was the owner. Once again I asked for her name. She finally said her name was Veronica. Well Veronica you need to be more courteous to customers and not get offended and take it personal when someone is telling you about their bad experience. People can get sick especially when pork isn't cooked properly. I will not ever eat at this restaurant or order from here due to Veronicas attitude towards customers. She didn't even offer to replace my taco with the fully cooked bacon. And I did throw away my taco didn't eat it. Thank you Veronica but...

Today was my 1st time ever visiting, not the best experience. Starting with our server, after we got our food we didn’t get checked on, we waited and the server never circled back. While tasting the food (Bistec ranchero plate) the rice wasn’t freshly made and the mashed potatoes were spoiled. We brought it up to the owner in the front counter and instead of her being apologetic, she made us feel like it was our fault we didn’t say anything, but how could we if no one check on us. She had an attitude with no care in the world about serving spoiled food. She mentioned we should have gotten up from our table to go tell them. And still didn’t do anything about the situation. The cook should have checked the food before sending it to the table. I would definitely not be going back or recommending this...
