11•22•24 so came in on this date and what can I say but dissapoint you be upset to paying $25.00 just for your plate ONLY. this is where I get agitated and Pist off. So your there in line 4eva ok u got dis but when you get your "FOOD WHILE BEING SERVED" you do expect A HOT meal what in the world... I pay, I sit, barley gonna eat and Guess what the whole meal is Cold not warm people Cold. You get the simplest item fried fish as prior 2months ago and this time cold, the fried zucchini Cold, the only thing hot or semi hot was the mac n cheese. SERIOUSLY I get up go to the front not one min sitting down they ask as I approached I said this fish is COLD she looks at me puzzeled i just cut into it no steam not warm cold as if it sat on a back shelf then decided to bring out to serve and sell thats what it was like. She takes it back apologized then brings new one and on the spot in front of her i touch it cut through it and guess what people (COLD)again SERIOUSLY.. she throws that one brings another felt as if they just dunk it in oil or whatever outer was Warm and inside same damn temperature cold. Ughh i was fed up by now took it and sat and ate upset. You be ticked off too paying $25. 00 for a cold meal and $25.00 the heck that abt. Not even at a steak house u spend that for yourself and it will be HOT. geez yall Lubys you need to get this together u must ck temp that stays up to par for customers this is wrong in so many levels yes you losing on food being thrown away but it wouldnt been thrown if you all would just ck the darn temp on your items, the zucchini was cold i told the waitress touch it i dont care you literally see it no steam not even warm. Yes I left Upset but i will NOT RETURN AND DO NOT RECOMEND this Luby's and about senior discount apparently that does not exsist as per one cashier in front said the only thing is that one on the board as you enter some special all other foods no senior citizens get discount on meals they pay full.. so FYI CUSTOMERS it is a COLD MEAL AND EXTREMELY PRICEY!. Also you need to be specific what is your Meal Combo every place is drink included so what is your combo cuz that price for just this time is prosperous.

8•25•24 Ok, food was fair, but my thing is you're in line forever as usual. That's not the problem. The problem is the server is in lala land, which takes too long along with the cook. Meaning when making fried fish, only 6 come out?? Seriously yall you should have more I was in line saw them come out as soon as they did before my turn all were gone and those people were way in front already so what happens I wait another 30min. Still in line, no fish and payed we find seats, but still no fish. My party of 3 started eating. I have all sides but no main course yet seriously.... no attends us, so what do I have to do? Get up and go back to the people at this time. Fish is probably gonna by now because they forget about me. Still, girl goes checks, and guess what? I get the last one they all gone again.. if I hadn't gotten up, I'd have to wait another 30 to 40 min. What's up with that if you know that item sells a lot and quick put more not to mention 2 servers the main course. It was bad service, then no napkins, no refills, you have to flag people down for service it is bad. I see no management what so ever. Just badly organized, everyone is chicken without a head fast walking and ck this ck that... and I'm standing there like an idiot waiting on food I paid for. Now let's get into the cashier. What in the world, lubys, senior citizens are senior citizens? What is this for 1 whole fish is reg. Price you have to get half a fish to get senior citizen that is the most preposterous thing ever actually this is the only restaurant I've heard do this. And I'm sure more than 85% of senior citizens don't know what they are being charged if they get the whole fish. Wth? Yes, I'm upset it shouldn't matter the portion it should compensate with other items served, not the proper serving , but you charge full on that. You never think of that, did ya? It's just...

I took my family to Luby's as the food there has usually been of good quality, but this time around, my family and I were very disappointed. The brown gravy I got with my mashed potatoes and chicken fried chicken tasted absolutely RANCID. It made me want to gag at how awful the taste was and it was obvious the gravy was already going bad. The mashed potatoes were also very dry and stale, and I had to call the waitress to exchange it for a side of corn instead. The chicken fried chicken was also not up to par compared to other visits and generally did not taste very good. My son also had similar problems with his turkey chop, the juice that gets poured on top to moisten it had a horrid smell and I suspect it was also going bad. After my son ate it he told me he felt nauseated. He couldn't finish his meal as to not make the feeling worse. The meal that my mother ordered was also of sub-par quality and did not enjoy her meal either. Overall a very disappointing experience and not likely to...

For slightly above average cafeteria food lubys is not what it once was....food is extremely over priced...your better off going to a Texas Roadhouse and getting an 11oz steak or a buffet to get the best bang for your buck. 1 person came out to 20usd.... I had chicken ,spinach, and Greenbeans with 2 jalapeños and bottled water.... you can get 1 buffet at Lins or Ocean for 20usd.... they need to lower their prices before they go out of business. If you need to lower prices we'll i saw a bunch of employees on the line with only 2 customers when I arrived...what are you paying them for?? Staring?? I'm sorry but you can run the line with maybe 2 you don't need a person for every type of food. Wake up.
