My Rolex hunt started around March 31, 2018. Rolex announced the all new Deep Sea Sea Dweller D-Blue James Cameron Edition at Basel 2018 in Switzerland. Needless to say since it was a relatively new timepiece getting ahold of one was all but impossible Due to my business I travel all over the place I got on AD lists in Dallas, Ft. Worth, Southlake, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Mcallen, Las Vegas and even in CO too.Every dealer told me that i would never be able to find nor buy that new watch. Well enter Don Luis at Reed's Jewelry in Brownsville, Tx. I stopped by there and had spoken to Luis few months ago. Low and behold sure enough Don Luis contacted me he had a DSSD James Cameron in stock back in September of this year. However due to several issues i wasn't able to purchase that watch and i passed on it. Talk about HUGE regret!! Luis was very cool about it NO pressure at all as he simply told me he totally understood but would contact me once another one came into his store. Well fast forward to Nov 16, 2018 Don Luis calls me again with THE best news I could ever hear. Yup he had just acquired another DSSD James Cam timepiece. This time since my wife and i were in the valley visiting family I told him to NOT hold the watch for me but if someone else wanted it and came in first ready to buy so be it. Well Saturday rolled around I finally made it to the store. YUP there it was...the very much coveted Rolex Deep Sea Sea Dweller JC Edition. Don Luis saw me walk in and once he finished up with the clients he was helping he made his way towards me. After a few words he pulled out the watch and handed it to me. My heart was racing like an engine on a Porsche GT3 RS at the track!!! After hunting down this very rare and special timepiece all over Texas, CO and Las Vegas there it was finally in my very own hands!!! Thank You God!!! Long story short I almost passed on this one as well but Don Luis' cool calm zero pressure demeanor was what finally sealed the deal on the watch. I highly recommend Reed's for all your hard to find jewelry pieces and totally recommend Don Luis for his professionalism. This watch is very special to me and i will eventually be passing it down to my unborn son once he is old enough to appreciate it the same way. You guys are so fortunate and blessed to have Don Luis working there as he is Not just an employee but an asset to your business. My wife and i will definitely be purchasing all our major jewelry pieces from this store because of Don Luis and not only that we will mention it to all our friends and clients. Read moreSo I’m having the same issue as another customer I’m a credit card reeds holder my wife and I went in to repair my ring at the same time purchased a new one sent the in one repair one resize, they told me that my ring was ready to go pick up when I went to go pick it up. They never did resize it so they sent it in again. They called me again to go to the store again that it was ready when I went it was a completely different ring. It wasn’t the one that we sent to get resized. They tried to push it on me to keep it, but it wasn’t what I wanted. I purchased the ring on my credit card where it was 12 months no interest. They did something like canceled it out and then re-ordered it and then the next week the full amount was drafted out of my bank account and Reeds said that I had it on auto pay which I never set up on auto pay but even so it was supposed to be 12 months no interest now it’s almost been two months and I still haven’t gotten the ring whenever I call all they tell me is will let you know when it’s here they can’t give me no dates or when it will arrive so basically they’ve taken my money for two months and no ring in sight. The first picture is the picture that I sent in for the repair. The second picture is the ring that I ordered. I’ve gotten my repaired one back but not the one that I ordered. Read moreWe purchased a charm online and received an email that stated we can call for curbside assistance at pick up. Rather than go and call while out there we called prior to leaving the house to confirm this info. The young lady who answered the phone advised me they didn't have curbside so I then asked if my husband could go in the store instead of me as I don't go in public places due to the pandemic. I was advised that it would be no problem and all he needed was the receipt with order info. When he got there he was told he could not pick up & not one of the many ladies there fessed up to being the one that gave me the wrong info over the phone. I called at 5:20 & my husband got in the store at 5:45 so unless they suffer from whatever TEN SECOND TOM suffered from in 50 First Dates I find it hard to believe they forgot they had that conversation with me.
