Personally, I have had many great breakfast experiences at Ricardoâs but after dining in for lunch today, I am unsure if I will be back. This was my first time eating lunch at Ricardoâs, as was it my familyâs also. While two meal orders were decent, the chicken tostadas and the chicken enchiladas were absolutely terrible. The chicken served on both plates was very dry/old and the lettuce on the tostadas was spoiled. While we never mentioned the spoiled lettuce we did attempt to get a refund for the enchiladas or a plate swap but were denied. We were told that the kitchen staff tried the sauce and that the plate was fine. We did not mention what we believed was wrong with the food, only that we did not find it edible. We were never informed if the chicken was tasted, just the sauce. We accepted their decline and asked for the plate to at least be removed from the table. They could not abide by that request either. We ended up paying a $60.00 tab for a table of food that was barely even picked at. While our waitress did wear a mask properly, the hostess only wore one around her chin. We also noticed this was happening with kitchen staff as well. If your business requires masks, the restaurant staff should adhere to those...
Read moreChef Ricardo is hands down the very best LEGITIMATE Mexican/International Chef in the country! I do not exaggerrate when I say this man has life-changing food. Lunch is perfect because it's a buffet that includes all kinds of delicious Mexican and International food. You must try his chile rellenos, fajitas, FRIED SHRIMP, and enchiladas. Each bite will leave you wanting more. Chef Ricardo is a very personable man and will probably introduce himself to you while you eat. Along with his mind blowing Mexican food is his creamy chicken and other catering type foods for weddings, graduations. etc. There is NOTHING bad at this at place. The ambiance is great not too small or too big. It makes you feel like you are not in the valley and experiencing cusine in a big city. The desserts are amazing too. This is likely my favorite restraunt in the entire...
Read moreThis place is crowded because the food is good and their buffet has a decent selection. Eggs with ham, eggs with chorizo, bacon, refried beans, barbacoa, and a few things on the hot side I canât remember. On the cold side, there was yogurt, strawberries, pineapple, peaches, granola, milk, small boxed cereals, cottage cheese, whole bananas, hard boiled eggs.
There is also an omelette station, included in the buffet price; they make them for you. I saw one customer eating thick waffles. Of course they also have butter and syrup.
Ricardoâs is definitely worth the price. Friendly staff, bright dining area and buffet area. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of their coffee mugs, which were about 10 ounces, unlike other restaurants that have 6 ounce mugs. If you are looking for a hearty breakfast in a friendly sit down atmosphere, Ricardoâs...
