Well we went the first time in January, horrible customer service, manager was rude, food was horrible and 1 1/2 hr on food, etc. Never could get anyone on the phone to make a reservation but when we got there they said they don’t take them, but people walked in and sat down, manager said they had reservations. I could go on.
I spoke to Amit, owner, via private message, instead of leaving a review. Give the owner time to resolve the issue. Amit was very nice and said he would make sure to take care of us if we came back.
Went back tonight. Such a disappointment. I dropped over $200 on very subpar food again ( price went up), service that stood around the bar area, until we had to continually call the young lady over just for refills. Tried to attach some pics of the empty restaurant with people lined outside who were again being told they don’t take reservations, yet the restaurant was empty. Also asked for a side of butter chicken sauce, since dish was lukewarm at best (I ordered it Spicy Indian Hot) since there was NO spice at all and very flavorless. Instead I got a response that it would take a long time to make, and the young lady pointed around the restaurant as if it was packed. It was pretty empty. So needless to say, everything was pretty below average with the food and service, same as before.
I would go to Jax or Savannah for real Indian cuisine. They definitely won’t make it in Brunswick.
Save your money all. Not even a kids menu either. Not a family restaurant. No liquor license that I...
Read moreVery happy to have Indian food in Brunswick. We had lunch and it was great. We were able to order our meals to our level of spiciness and it was perfect. The atmosphere was tranquil and inviting, we sat in a booth and it was very comfortable, they had a bar where you can eat but I do not think they have alcohol (we didn't order any). The restaurant was not very crowded but that was probably because it was a Thursday at 2pm. We want Bollywood to stay and have a couple of small critiques and suggestions. Offer a lunch special. This restaurant is located in downtown Brunswick and would probably have a very large crowd for lunch if there was a discount at lunch. It was a little on the expensive side for lunch. Offer a buffet, especially on 1st Friday. The food is incredible but if you've never had Indian food before, a buffet will allow you to try different things and might bring you back for more. It will also bring more locals in (everybody loves a buffet) Greet the customer at the door, not from the end of the bar sitting and point to a booth. I will definitely be going back and hope the owners see my review. Downtown Brunswick is a great area and it keeps...
Read moreWe went for dinner on their first day open. I knew it was going to be busy so I made a reservation to avoid long waits (thank goodness because they definitely had a long wait). My first impression was that this place is so cute. I love the decor and vibes of the restaurant. It’s not a very big place but they were able to make it cozy. Everybody was so nice. Our server was Cat/Kat (not sure of the spelling). She was so informative, friendly, and helpful. So many employees apologized to us for the wait for our food and checked to make sure we were okay. They all went above and beyond on customer service. We were in no rush at all, we came here expecting to wait. It was nice to slow down and not have a rushed dinner. The food came out after about an hour (which again, it was expected especially for their first night). We all loved it and the portions were the perfect size. Even my picky toddler loved her food and wants to go back soon. We spent our drive home talking about what dishes we are going to order on our next visit. So overall, 10/10. A wonderful edition to Brunswick and I can’t...
