Checkers — Restaurant in Brunswick

I have never had problems with this checker's like I did at 7 pm this evening. I did a mobile order for my sister and myself like we have plenty of times and no problems. So we get there to the carry out window and waited about 5 minutes. While we were waiting, the cashier stared directly at us a few times and proceeded to lean across the counter without even coming to the window to give us our food. My sister gets out and knocks on the drive thru window. The girl still looks over at us while still not coming to the window. Finally after my sister knocked 5 times, a man came to the window. Claimed to be a manager but was unprofessional and unapologetic. We got our food without so much as I'm sorry for the wait or even a thank you. Of course we checked over everything and two orders of fries were left out. So unfortunately, she has to knock on the window again to bring ignored. Finally a nicer man (couldn't get his name as none of the employees wear name tags) gave us the rest of our food and said thank you. So thanks to this man for showing us customer service. I am not a racist person, but I felt like we (2 white females) were being racially profiled because both of the negative employees were African American. They just saw two females who didn't matter because all we wanted was our food. Needless to say, we won't be back if this is how your business treats its paying...

The food was an A+! The service was less than stellar. It was mainly whomever took our order when they answered the drive thru. However, when we got to the window, the cashier was very nice and we knew she wasn't the one that took our order because her voice was different. She was taking an order from someone else, so the only conversation we shared was her stating our total and me telling her thank you. It was her job to do it but it's one of my pet peeves because it forces you to interrupt or wait for a turn to speak when something is needed.

A chicken sandwich meal, burger meal, and a order of cheese sticks came out $27 and some change Both sandwiches had customizations and they were made correctly, but we realized we were missing the sauce for the cheese sticks once we got home. We wouldn't have noticed if we hadn't been specifically asked what sauce we wanted when we ordered. We asked for marinara, and the response was being told our total. So it's entirely possible they didn't have any or maybe it wasn't even an option because we don't know what sauces they offer with them.

All in all, we would return solely for the food because it's one of our favorite spots and we are grateful to no longer have to drive 45+ mins north or south to enjoy it! But I do hope we have a better experience the next go-round, or we likely won't...

My pick up time was 7:55pm. I arrived at the 7:53. The hostess walked to the back, came back out and told us that it was ready, they were just bagging it up. So we sit down and wait. We sat there for more than 30 minutes until another employee fjnally asked if we had been helped. Gave that employee my name and she also went to the back to check then came back out and told us the exact same thing that the 1st employee said 30 prior that it was ready and they were bagging it up. So we continued to wait. Finally 48 minutes later, AFTER I made a remark to my husband about the time our order was FINALLY brought out. We checked the bag before we left, everything was there but it was not even warm. We had to come home and REHEAT our own food. So our order had been just sitting in the back...
