I went through the Brunswick, Ohio McDonald's drive thru located at 3115 Center Road. I ordered a large diet coke no ice that is very clearly advertised on their front windows as can be seen in the photos, but when I get to the window to pay, the cashier tries to charge $1.38, $1.29+.09 tax. I told him that the sign says $1 any size. He asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. I said yes. The manager, who later claimed his name was Kyle Payne, came to the window, I told him the issue and he rudely said that the sign is scheduled to come down and it's $1.38. I again stated that is not what your sign says. He then says it's $1.38 do you want it or not. I told him that is not what was advertised and I will contact corporate for not honoring the advertised price. I the parked in the front of the building to take pictures and write my complaint, I backed out of the space and headed back towards the drive thru window, did a 3 point turn in the lane to face the proper direction, and asked the manager his name. I then pulled back into the parking space where I continued to write my complaint to cooperate. The "GM" and a crew member comes to the door, phone in hand and tells me to leave. I told him when I am done filing my complaint. He then calls Brunswick police on me. Like I told corporate, this company's food has been terrible, service is terrible, rude crew members and management. Then they raise the prices across the board and no improvement at all. I stayed away from most fast food and all restaurants for the duration of the pandemic. I can find far better food with far better attitudes elsewhere for far better value. Stopped eating their food when they raised their prices beyond crazy for what you are getting, now I won't go there ever and will tell everyone about my...
Read moreMy recent visit to McDonald's left me with a mixed impression. While there were some positive aspects, there were also a few areas that could use improvement.
On the positive side, the location was convenient, and the restaurant had ample parking space, making it easy to access. The ordering process was relatively quick, and the staff was polite in taking my order.
However, I noticed a couple of issues during my visit. First, the cleanliness of the restaurant could be better. The floors and tables appeared somewhat dirty, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. I believe regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial to providing a pleasant atmosphere for customers.
Secondly, the wait time for my order was longer than expected, even though there weren't many people in line. It seemed like the kitchen might have been understaffed or experiencing some delays that day. As a result, my food wasn't as hot as I would have liked when it finally arrived.
Moreover, I ordered one of their signature sausage mcmuffins, and while it tasted alright, it wasn't as fresh as I've experienced in other McDonald's outlets. It lacked that distinctive flavor I associate with their brand.
Despite these drawbacks, the staff members were responsive when I brought up my concerns, and they seemed genuinely interested in improving the overall customer experience. That level of attentiveness is appreciated and shows that they care about their patrons' feedback.
In conclusion, this McDonald's has potential, but there are areas that need attention. Improving cleanliness, reducing wait times, and ensuring the freshness of the food would go a long way in elevating the overall dining experience. I may consider giving it another chance in the future, hoping to see some...
Read moreI don't agree the prices of McDonald's food these days represent the food that we're getting. Although I can always enjoy a fresh out still hot French fry, the prices are just too extreme for something that used to represent FAST AND CHEAP GOOD FOOD.. I'd rather spend my $10-$15 getting a take out order at Chipotle or even a restaurant where you can buy a burger and side of fries for $10-$12 and the restaurant quality burger is made better and is actually worth the money. The only thing I seen that I applaud was McDonald's started doing the $5 deal where you get a burger, nuggets, small fry and a beverage for $5. I think this makes sense and was a great idea whoever the McDonald's on Center Rd. Is NOT ADVERTISING THIS. THEY KEEP IT A SECRET & I HAD TO ASK IF THEY STILL WERE DOING THIS $5 DEAL. The cashier actually said no we are not at first, but then said they were. It was strange. It's NOWHERE ON THE MENU EVER! Which is very sneaky and shady imo. So please MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS TELL THEM U WANT THE $5 DEAL don't bother asking them because some might lie to you! All McDonald's should have this available even though they are not advertising it. Hope this helps someone get the $5 deal that's such a secret now a days...shame on u...
