So I stumbled across this place while looking for local restaurants and was craving some Mexican food and thought to give this place a try!
It’s been a long time since I’ve tasted real, authentic birria tacos since my visit at Guido’s Burritos in Ocean City, Maryland so that bar is set pretty high already.
You’d think this was just like any other place stationed inside of a plaza but I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and beautiful the atmosphere was. Gorgeous art pieces everywhere, the staff were very polite and our food came out rather quick.
The chips that arrived at the table were your plain jane tortilla chip, the sauce was pretty good with a decent balance of chunky and watery and had a slight heat factor. Nothing overbearing.
The presentation of the food was nicely decorated and it all looked fresh (to which it was), however the birria tacos as with the beans kind of lacked flavor. Dipping it into the sauce kind of tasted more like oil than it did any other flavoring. The queso pulled very nicely on the taco but also lacked a lot of flavor however it was still edible and good, just more of a simple flavoring to it. Nothing too impressive.
The rice on the other hand was absolutely delicious, soft and fluffy. Had a really nice flavoring to it. We were so impressed with the rice that we opted to take some home!
Overall, it’s a beautiful and nicely kept, clean place, the seating was exemplary (kind of like sitting in a lazy boy chair and I’m not even kidding!), very kind staff and the food was overall pretty good, just need to focus on flavoring stronger with the birria tacos and beans but for the price of everything, you truly can’t go wrong for a nice...
Read moreCame here for a quick lunch with friends on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised. When walking in the restaurant is decorated so fun with cool murals on the walls and eclectic chandeliers. The bar is the star of the show, beautiful and huge. The service was amazing and was very attentive. We ordered a pitcher of raspberry jalapeño margaritas, they were AMAZING. Also, a pitcher of Mango margaritas and the server was kind enough to bring out a side of jalapeños since not everyone loved spicy. All of the food was absolutely delicious. The chunky guac was fresh and flavorful. Everyone loved their main dishes. The Burritos were huge, the chipotle chicken was smothered in delicious sauce and was the perfect spice level. My favorite thing was the Al Pastor Tacos, the pork was far from dry and the pineapple, onions & cilantro made it feel so light and fresh. Lunch for 4 people with 2 pitchers was under $130, extremely reasonable for the quality of food. I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant compared to the others...

The menu features unique specialties, such as mouthwatering tacos made with prime cuts of steak, paired perfectly with their expertly crafted drinks.
