3/19/25 Update: I am downgrading my review from 5 stars (based on many prior visits) to 1 star based on today and the worst service I have ever received in my entire life at a restaurant. We were there at 4:48pm and it was still pretty empty. There were only 3 tables seated with a total of 6 people in the whole place. The server was extremely distracted during our entire visit. He kept talking to the couple that was sitting across from us. We waited a long time for him to pause his conversation and come over to take our order. After we got our food, he never asked if everything was ok and did not offer to refill our waters. He was constantly over at the table across from us. We were made to feel like we were bothering him. I had to call him over and ask for a box. After a while, he brought the box we then waited for our check. I gave him my credit card and he brought back the wrong check that was about $25 more than our check. Then he was again talking to the other couple and I had to call him over again and I told him that he brought the wrong check and charged it to my credit card. He did say he was sorry, but then it took him a long time to bring the correct check back. We were made to feel like we did not matter at all. We will NEVER return. When I got home I tried to call the restaurant and they had a message that the number was not accepting calls, so I left a message. Then I tried to call again later and asked for the Manager and they said the Manager was not there. So I asked for our server by name and when he came to the phone I asked who I was speaking to and he hung up on me. UNBELIEVABLE! After this treatment, I drove back up to the restaurant (which I have never done in my entire life). I went up to the register and asked the man there if he was the Manager and he said yes. I told him the entire story and he was very sorry and agreed with me and apologized on behalf of the server, who I also saw and spoke to directly. I've been a loyal customer of Mucho Bueno for the past 10 years, ever since I moved to Brunswick, Ohio. From day one, the owner and staff have always made me feel like family. They're incredibly friendly, polite, and genuinely take the time to chat with you, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
I've sampled numerous items from the menu over the years, and I've never had a bad meal. On a few occasions, I've been served the wrong dish, but as long as it wasn’t seafood (I'm allergic), I went ahead and tried it. I’ve never been disappointed! They’ve always been quick to apologize and offer to bring me my original order, but I don't believe in wasting food – I just see it as the universe's way of nudging me to try something new.
While the wait times can be a bit long on busy days, it's a testament to the amazing food and service. Good things are worth the wait, and at Mucho Bueno, you always know you're in for a treat.

Read moreI normally love this place.. Most of the time its a great experience. So im trying to not let tonights experience change my opinion of this restaurant overall. My boyfriend and i go to mucho buenos at least once every 2 weeks. But tonight, the service was less than decent. First, my order was wrong. And our server tried telling me it wasnt, and insisting i was wrong. I know what i ordered, and the food sitting in front of me was not it. Im not a "karen" by any means, so i just let it go. She did not offer to make it right, or have it remade. Just insisted that it was correct. Then, after that happened, our server did not come back once to check on us. No refills on drinks, nothing. She sat rolling silverware the whole time, and after we finished eating, we waited a good ten minutes before i had to go get her to get us a box, and our check. I am really hoping this was a one time thing. Because this is one of our favorite restaurants. If our next experience is back to being good, i will make sure to do another review...
