Was excited to get a Whopper that I had not had in over three months due to some medical issues and was excited I would be getting a Whopper for $2.00. Wowza!! When I got to the order kiosk I had pulled up my BK app and saw the offer. I pressed it and it came up as either a Whopper, or Impossible Whopper, for $2.00. Nice lady came on and I told her I had a coupon for the $2.00 Whopper. I wanted to make sure I got the Whopper. She asked for the code. She asked if I'd like cheese on it. I said sure. I also ordered a medium onion ring and a medium unsweetened iced tea. Here I'm excited to get my first Whopper in over two months. I pay for my food, the lady at the window was awesome (thanks Summer), I got my food and drove off. About 15 minutes later I open the bag to find an Impossible Whopper instead of what I ordered...an actual Whopper. I was shocked and a bit upset. I pulled out the receipt and sure enough, it said Impossible Whopper. I didn't ask for that and made it clear I wanted a Whopper. Here's where it gets good. I called the store and someone by the name of Amy answers. I asked to speak with the manager. She said that was her. As I began to explain what had occurred she became very defensive, almost immediately, and I told her I had a mobile coupon and gave them the code. She said "oh, the code is for the Impossible Whopper". I told her it didn't say that on the app coupon. It said it was good for either the Impossible Whopper, or a Regular Whopper, and that i didn't ask for an Impossible Whopper. Amy decided to start to talking over me and at that point I had to stop her and said, "Amy, I didn't ask for a damn Impossible Whopper", at which point she said, "don't you swear at me", and hung up the phone. I was shocked she did this. I called back to speak with her, to apologize, and once again, after I asked who her supervisor was she said, "You can call anyone you want and I'll tell them you swore at me". She again hung up the phone. Really Amy? Is this the way you handle all your customer service complaints? This is the first time someone said the word damn to you and you took offense? Wow. I've heard a lot worse and I'm also in customer service. I handle people professionally and don't hang up phones. I get the issue taken care of like most grown adults do. Grow some skin. This didn't solve why your team served me the wrong item I didn't order and pay for. I called corporate and spoke with a very nice person representing Burger King. She apologized profusely and said she would be sending my situation, and the voice recording, (because the call is recorded and she would forward it up the corporate ladder) and this would be resolved. Sadly enough, she said this isn't the first time we've heard this about their store and also hearing that no one answers the phone at that location most of the time. Instead of Amy saying, "Sir, I'm really sorry that happened to you. How can I fix this for you?", (then the word damn wouldn't have come out of my mouth) like most other formally trained managers would do, she went off the deep end and acted like I used every swear word in the book, which I didn't do. She also tried to blame their app. She needs to find another job where the word damn doesn't totally offend her. Even the person from corporate said she didn't consider the word damn a swear word. I will never ever go back to that location. She needs to find another job if she can't help her paying customers solve issues. Shame on her and shame on Burger King for employing someone like her as a manager. Now I see why their store ratings across most social media are horrible...and I love Burger...

Read moreHave visited the buger king more than several times. Each time I visit this location, I always have a problem with my order. Most of the time I do nothing about it. Just say to my self what do expect its burger king. Then you get to a point that you and many other people are spending money at this restaurant. This last time it just got to me. In the past got ice cold crisaunt. With partial cook hash browns. Went home three the hash browns away had to reheat the sandwich. Other times got order wrong. This time very simple. Two whopper jr. Meals no onion. Simple right. Wrong. Receipt read no onion, monitor no onion. Wrap around sandwich said no onion. Guess what they put onion on the sandwiches. My grand kids cannot stand onions the taste or smell of them. As a result would not eat them. Called the restaurant asked them what is the procedure when order come in. They tell me. Then I asked ok someone had to mark the paper wrap around the buger correct. She said yes. Ok is that the same person that is making the sandwich. She said I think so. So if everything said no onions how and why did onions get on the burgers. She then rudely said verbatim so what do you expect me to do. No apologies nothing. So asked for corporate #. Same rudeness. So I asked which burger does this buger king own. They indicated both in brunswick. Guess what that is the last time I will support either location. Wendy right across the street wonderful compare...
