Normally i never have anytjing bad to say about this place but this time they went from my ususal good experience ti a really bad one. I ordered some food from Seasons Of Japan Brunswick Friday night (1/18/19) My order number was 36835 and I picked it up around 9:20pm firstly I almost fell multiple times because the Floor was wet despite not being closed yet (although I understand wanting to leave early) that's extremely dangerous especially when they knew that they have a customer coming to pick up an order When I went to eat my food the sushi was falling apart which sucked but didn't mess with the taste however the chicken tasted old and awful and it was super hard. It was horrible. I of course left a message to this page since they had closed and received a response that's management would review the issue but them never got anything back. I left multiple messages informing them that I'd still like my refund or order remade and never got a response. I then sent an email and was told the same thing and never received a response. By this point it's the 23rd so I call them and was told I would get a refund. Waited a few days and the refund never came. I called today and was told the refund couldn't go through so I asked them to remake my order. Went to pick it up and was told next time not to wait five days to report an issue....so since you said that thinking I wasn't recording I'm gonna post that video here of I can :) so since you decided to leave me a tip ill leave you some too. Please try not to make promises you can't keep as far as refunds, don't mop your floors knowing your going to have a customer come in and don't...
Read moreI don't know why this is so highly rated. I have some of the lowest standards ever and I can confidently say this is one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had.
Even without the food, the sit-in dining experience was horrible. Every table and booth was dirty in some way some having full on puddle of sauce in the middle of the table. The windows were disgusting and there were mold on some of the walls.
As for the food, I don't know, maybe we just had the worst chef on a bad day, but it was disgusting. I ordered a vegetable roll and a supreme bowl (something that had rice, chicken, beef, mushrooms, shrimp, and broccoli). The shrimp tasted horrible and the mushrooms and broccoli just tasted wrong. The rice was probably the only positive thing of this dining experience, but I couldn't even finish it because I felt sick. The vegetable roll was somehow so much worse though. I have a picture attached below that shows how nasty it looks. I don't know how well it comes across in the picture, but it looked worked worse than grocery store sushi. The texture was like eating grass and the taste was horrible.
I've genuinely never had paid food this bad before. If you're reading this deciding to eat here, please just choose a better Asian place. If you're already there, just eat at the Buffalo Wild Wings beside it.
EDIT: By the way, the health inspection certificate hung on the wall in the order line was done 7 years ago and is long expired. Our entire meal was worth $50 (2 adults and a child) and was not worth...
Read moreI really don't know what's going on at this location, but the quality of the food here has gone down tremendously over the past year at least. I have gone five times this year alone. Every single time I've gone recently, my teriyaki chicken has been absolutely disgusting. Every second or third bite is a total gamble between a rubbery, slimy fatty piece or a rock hard cartilage-type piece. It's extremely jarring and awful to eat, and feels like I'm being served scraps.
I used to adore this place, its simple atmosphere with jazz music, and good portions. I just can't say the same anymore. It pains me to write this, because I was always a regular.
The portions have been significantly reduced, and every few bites just feel wrong. That awesome jazzy atmosphere just isn't enough to pull me through the questionable food anymore.
(Maybe it's just the chicken? Although, if they're screwing up something as basic as chicken, I can't imagine the...
