This place might as well be employing some kids to hang out in the kitchen or parking lot for their evening shift, because that's about all that goes on here later in the evening.
$60 spent & a family of 4. First timers. Arrived around 8pm with only one couple in the dining room. Several staff members walked by us and never acknowledged us. When we stepped up to the counter, a boy came around to the cashier stand and just stared at us. He had ear buds in that we can only assume affected his hearing and the volume of his voice since he got our order wrong & had to repeat himself several times even with us leaning in to hear him. The drink machine was taped over stating there were no soda options available, the sweet tea was empty, and the staff was scared up front so we had to wait until the food was brought to the table to ask for it. Once we did, we were told they were out. So our options were unsweetened tea, strawberry lemonade, or water. The floor was littered with trash but tables seemed clean. While dining, we could hear the staff enjoying the company of one another in the kitchen and see them sitting on the counters and standing around conversating in the reflection of the glass on the windows. We witnessed several staff go bavk and forth between the kitchen to the parking lot, 3 of which went together at one point. None of which had on hair nets or gloves, no washed their hands upon re-entry. Our food was sub-par. Burgers were cold & tenders over cooked and/or cooked in old grease. The A1 Burger was less than impressive with a serious lack of ingredients that gave it it's name.
Overall, our experience sucked and in the future, we will be spending our money where they don't serve beginning to end...
Read moreSo disappointed. Was looking for a treat after rushed weekend. Ordered 50 +dollars worth of burnt, grease soaked incorrect order. Chili dog was suppose to be chili and onion- no onion no chili is what kitchen mgr zenia (sp) must have decided was what we meant. Ordered chicken finger to go box. The fingers are burnt and grease was old and tater tot’s have a napkin stuck to them. 2 burger boxes that were plain w cheese. But we ordered 2 burger boxes 1 with lettuce, onion, tomato, mustard ketchup and Mayo. The other with only mustard ketchup and pickles only. Once again may as well just asked the kitchen what they felt like preparing. New restaurant no leadership. We called after seeing this was not edible and was transferred to kitchen mgr zenia who could not assist. Seemed to be ill prepared to handle issues and could not provide customer service phone number. After she continued to argue with me the customer she walked away and gave Taylor the phone to get a resolution to the burnt, greasy, incorrect order kitchen mgr allowed to leave the store. Was trying to have order replaced but was told by manager little could be done some items not available Like lettuce. Another issue is that kitchen mgr advised us that she was the GM. Wish we could support local businesses But you have made it very difficult. Very poor people skills for the management team in place although Taylor did at least refund which the kitchen mgr said we had to go through...
Read moreI love the new style restaurant with the see-through kitchen but what? What concerns me most is with the young and older people constantly on their phones. The same phone that they take in the restroom. The same phone that they have in their back pocket next to their butts or in their front pocket to the next their genitals and then they immediately come in the kitchen. They do not wash their hands. They grab gloves to start making your food well. Anything on your phone you have transmitted to the outside of the gloves that now you're going to touch my food which is disgusting. Learn some ServSafe basic kitchen safety to keep people safe and healthy. Wash your hands with antibacterial soap before touching the gloves that you're going to make someones food with!!!!!
All restaurants need to have a phone, sanitation device or wipes for the workers in the kitchen so they can wipe their phones off when they enter the kitchen from a break from a restroom break and then they also can wash their hands with antibacteria soap
Do not I repeat, do not touch your phone and immediately touch the gloves that you're going to prepare food with. Wash your hands before touching the gloves!!!!!
Cancel my order. When I saw both individuals immediately walk in and start grabbing gloves or...
