Smoothie King — Restaurant in Brunswick

My fiancé and I went there 10 minutes before they closed (I know, what should I expect?) to get our son a smoothie because he had been sick and that’s the only thing he could try to ingest. There was only one car in front of us at the window who was waiting and talking to the drive thru employee for 5+ minutes. Someone came over the speaker and said they would be right with us. Once the car at the window drove away another person came on the speaker and said “sorry we’re about to close and our system has shut down.” It was 3 minutes til they closed when we had been waiting there since 7:50. There was also another car behind us. I have worked customer service for 12 years and know what it’s like to just want to hurry up and leave near the end of your shift and I have also told customers who were in my store well PAST closing time with the lights were out that our systems shut down knowing good and well it was a lie. Systems don’t shut down 10 minutes before you close, if at all. All we wanted was a kid size strawberry banana smoothie which would have taken your employee a minute to make and not much clean up. I never leave bad reviews even when employees aren’t the greatest, but this one struck a nerve. It’s almost as if the girl was trying to waste time with the car at the window to purposely not want to take our order. Appalling and awful...

I tried calling and no one answered so I have to come and post online about this location. Coming from a previous employee of smoothie king. I love smoothie king but this one is trash. I asked for a strawberry and pineapple smoothie, first try they gave me strawberry and banana so I asked politely if I could get strawberry and pineapple and handed the smoothie back to the drive thru worker and she said yes, I wait another 5 minutes in the line just for the second try to be a strawberry smoothie. The smoothie is disgusting and there are chunks of ice and not blended at all. I understand getting the order wrong but the amount of workers there were inside of the store was absurd for only two girls working drive thru and everyone else on their phones. The line was also 6 cars deep and it took 10 minutes just to get one smoothie made. The management needs to rethink their workers at...

When I go to Smoothie King, I always get the Immune Builder Veggie Superfood that’s made with spinach, kale, banana and more. I am amazed that I do not taste the veggies yet I’m drinking the healthy vitamins. 💚 You can also get it as a Mixed Berry flavor which is yummy too. With this change in temperature to cooler weather, it seems everyone is getting sick with a cold, flu, sinus infection. Not me. I’m drinking this immune builder smoothie and staying well. 👍🏽 I sometimes add collagen to it to help my joints. I bought a couple of their bars and mixed nuts to try out too. See photo.
