Harbor Freight — Local services in Brunswick

My wife says I'm addicted to HFT, and she may not be wrong! :-) I do love getting good tools at great prices. I do my homework, because sometimes a tool here or there is NOT as good as it seems, but the online ratings usually bear that out. And every now and then, you can find something elsewhere that is better than the HFT tool for not too much more. More often than not, though, I feel like I'm getting a MUCH better "bang-for-the-buck" with my HFT equipment than I am with others. I have plenty of stuff from the L tool store and the HD one as well, and they're really good, but because most of my stuff is from HFT, I have a lot MORE than I would have if I had bought them all at the other places. (See what I mean?) The folks there are knowledgable and helpful, too, and (maybe it's because I go there so often, but...) always seem to be glad to see me coming...

Great! The manager was so great. I saw an item that was placed in the wrong location, but I did not realize it. When I went to the cashier. She did not want to listen or to step out of her little cash register area to come look where I was telling her that the price was a lot less than the price that I was charged based on where the item was located. But she did get her manager for me and he could see exactly where I was talking about the item was placed for $7 less and he was willing to give that lesser price to me. I so appreciate him for treating me as a valued customer. Whereas the cashier did not want to...

I've limited my purchases here to mainly hand tools and things I want to throw away when I'm done. Are you only going to use it once and don't have another purpose for it? might be worth buying something here. Second time I used this bit about 45 screws in and it breaks off in the screw. Now I'm halfway done with my project and can't finish. And do I want to stick any of the other bits and any other screws to see if they break no. They used to have good sales not anymore. And they were once cheaper especially with a sale, but you're better off going elsewhere it's not that much cheaper especially...
