My husband & myself were the only ones on this particular visit. The worse visit ever. We went in this morning about 11am. We were told there would be a wait of about 15 minutes to be seated due to tables being full. That we were okay with. So we grabbed a menu & looked it over as we were waiting to be seated. After about 20 minutes we were seated. After that we waited yet another good 10 minutes before we were asked what we would like to drink. Then another 15+ minute wait for our drinks then to take our order. My blood sugar was already dropping by that time as I am diabetic. After our order was taken it was yet another 30+ minutes before we received our food. Our waiter informed me that my omelet I ordered had to be remade again because they were going to send it out unsatisfactorily & there was conflict in the kitchen. Not our problem. So that explained some of the extended wait. When my husband 's food came it literally looked like they just threw it on his plate from across the room!!! His order alone was over $9 but looked like a kids portion!!! Not even joking. I should have taken a pic of it. I had to wait for my refill & asked for extra lemons with my refill & had to wait for my lemons, no big deal but still when I request something they should bring it & there shouldn't be a long wait. I also asked for picante sauce with my omelet & had to wait for that. I understand the place was busy but that's no excuse for the length of time it took to receive our meal. I did not tip because & I would have given a fair decent tip had I not have to wait as long as I did & every request made for what I had asked for was additional wait time. Some may disagree on the tip factor saying it's not the waiter's fault. Well, for one he was not a "new waiter" that I would have taken into consideration & another it's his responsibility we get our refills on time & bring our requests timely & not have to ask a second time. Then the fact we had to wait to even have our drink order taken. We then waited another several minutes for our ticket. We will not be returning to this IHOP again. For what we paid it was a joke. Very unhappy &...
Read moreThis IHOP was the absolute worst of any that I have ever been in!! It was extremely busy. There was not a single person assigned to the check-in counter. Waitresses had to make time to check in and seat incoming patrons. We were able to have a place to sit while we waited to be taken to our table, which was the only highlight of our time. We were at our table for 15 minutes before our waitress made an appearance. She proceeded to take our drink order. 15 minutes later, the waitress brought our drinks. I had requested French Vanilla Creamers, but she brought Hazelnut instead. I asked her for the French Vanilla again, and my husband asked for Half & Half for his coffee. Her snippy reply was, "If you will just give me a minute, I will get the Half & Half for you. Numerous patrons were seated; their orders were taken and served by our waitress. We could never get her attention to get coffee or other drink refills. My husband actually was given a coffee pitcher by a patron as she was leaving because our waitress never came back to check on us. When our meals were served 20 minutes later, I asked the waitress if she was still our waitress. She became testy, saying how she was so overworked, short-handed, and was doing what she could. I asked for coffee refills and told her that our treatment was absolutely unacceptable. Again, she became very angry. Our tab was $90.00. The waitress was not slow on bringing the ticket to us. This waitress does not know that with her lack of attention to my family, she had cost herself a $50 tip. My husband travels all over the State of Texas, and tips waitresses at least 50% of his tab. Instead of $50, she got a $10 tip. I had told him to give her $2.00. We will definitely not be eating at IHOP again...
Read moreWorst experience I have had at a I hop my Waiter was nice and friendly so it is not her fault I ordered 2 new York cheesecake pancakes and the bacon combo which should be two eggs and two pieces of bacon as well as the side order of bacon I requested.upon my order getting to me I do not have the extra bacon I got one over cooked scrambled egg and two bacon strips. I did not complain about the extra bacon things happen what I did complain about was the fact I told them I was allergic to strawberry thus why I requested it not be on my pancakes well upon taking a bite I see red all over the bottom of the plate so I lift the pancake up to discover that the strawberry was put on but scraped off and they flipped the pancake over so I would not notice it...I explained this to my Waiter who told me she would speak with the manager about 5 mins later she comes back with my ticket for 12$ change and tells me the manager took off 2$ for the inconvenience looking at my ticket the extra bacon I never received also was on the ticket so I requested to speak with the manager I told her I don't feel a oj one egg and two Bacon's is 12$ she then took off the extra bacon and gave me another ticket charging 10$ change now..... according to the ticket a side order of 2 bacon strips is 1.27 so to my knowledge I should pay for what I ate and what I ate did not match the ticket this was a horrible experience and the manager is very rude not to mention this family atmosphere is hard to enjoy when explict music is being blasted from the kitchen very hard to enjoy a meal when your hearing music about prostitutes, dope, and b$&#@es this gets a flat...
