I placed a curbside order 4:41pm today. I got there and waited outside for over 10 minutes. Called the restaurant and they said they'd given someone my order by mistake & that they'd make my order again. When the girl finally brought it out to my car I was missing am item. I tried waved & started calling out "ma'am ma'am" but she didn't hear me so I blew my horn. She then turns around & started screaming at me "no, you're not going to blow your horn at me!! If you need something else, get out your car & speak to the manager!!" And she storms back in the restaurant! Mind you all this happened in front of customers inside & outdoors! It was embarrassing! I called the restaurant & asked that a manger come out. When the manager came out I explained to her what happened. She was really nice & went to collect the rest of my missing order. At this point me & my 5 year old who had also witnessed the ridiculous ordeal had been outside waiting for over 15 minutes. My daughter was upset because the girl scared her and she said she thought she was gonna hurt her mommy. I will probably never go back to this location. My daughter is traumatized & I was highly disappointed at the treatment & service I received from the young lady. I didn't get her name but she was a young Caucasian girl. She doesn't deserve to work at such a nice establishment. She'll run away your customers at the first sign...
Read moreMy wife and I hand not eaten at McAlister’s in a while, but should have known better. We ordered our food which took a minute due to new person and no one was helping them. My wife ordered 7 sour cream’s t go with her potato, but they did not ring up 7 and I didn’t notice at the time. Once we got our food I stated we should have 7 not 1 sour cream’s, so the waitress went back to get them. The waitress came back to the table and stated she could only give us 2. My wife asked to speak with the manager. Manager came to the table with an attitude and stated the cashier is new and she was not going to give us the other sour cream because we did pay for it. Absolutely not one time did she try to solve the problem or just state we could come back up to pay for the sour cream. I did go back to the counter to order the remaining sour cream we needed. The cashier I guess thought I was not going to pay and this same rude manager asked cashier who were they for and stated I will only give them 1 more. The cashier finally realized I wanted to pay for the sour cream and someone had to show her how to ring them up. The manager was the most rude person I have ever encountered and she probably needs to take management class. Moral of the story customer service should always...
Read moreIncredibly rude staff. My family placed a phone order and went to pick it up about 20 minutes later. When they handed us our drinks I noticed that none of them had light ice (I'd specifically requested light ice on 3 of them over the phone). So I asked politely, "which of these were the light ice?" Hoping that the question would prompt them to realize the mistake. The young girl working the register curtly said "I dunno. I didn't make them." And promptly walked away.
I took the lids off and gestured for the other front worker. He came over and I asked if we could get them remade correctly. He refused to take them at first and said "well that's how they come. It wasn't on the ticket. I don't know who took your order." I responded that we did request light ice over the phone and again asked if we could get it corrected. He finally begrudgingly took them back and dumped out a bit of ice and topped the rest with tea.
I wasn't asking for anything other than what I ordered. Mistakes happen. It's human. So please teach your staff how to recover from mistakes when they do happen. Customers don't really care why or how the mistake occurred. They just want to know how you're...
