Whataburger — Restaurant in Benton

More problems...... Ordered inside the restaurant for a to-go order. From payment to receiving my order was 35 minutes!! The restaurant was not full. Most people had ordered and were just sitting at their tables waiting. One couple had to change their order to to-go because they had sat there so long. As people were coming in getting their mobile orders, I noticed all of them carring it out in a logo vinyl bag. When I finally got mine, a paper sack. I inquired about the bag and was told of I order thru DoorDash I would get one. Ok, I thought. So today, I ordered thru DoorDash. More pricey, but I was going to get that reusable bag. Went in to pick up my order and was again given a paper sack. I asked the young girl who gave me my order where my vinyl bag was because it was a DoorDash order (over $20 mind you). She said that I didn't order much so she didn't think I needed it. I told her that I still wanted the bag.......... she walked off. I am so done with this place.

Previous rating.... Really unhappy with my service today. This is the first time since this location opened that I've had any problems. I ordered my food at the drive thru and the lady told me to wait at the speaker until they tell me to move forward. In the meantime, cars are lining up behind me. After a minute or two the screen says to move forward. I did. When I got to the window to pay, I was chastised for moving up and was told they didn't want me to move up yet because there was going to an 8 minute wait on the chicken. I first visited a Whataburger in TX. 13 years ago when my wife’s father took me to one in the process of seeing if I would be a suitable husband for his daughter. The food was great, even if the visit was a bit strenuous. Fast forward 13 years and a Whataburger crops up in Bryant AR…. Good memories brought back. Take wife to relive and share good memories. This time however, no stress, the staff was friendly and attentive, we used the drive through which had 2 lanes and sharp kids working them. Yay! Order our food no problem, get it in short order, and we dart off to have a parking lot picnic! Spirits high. Fries were good, not the best, but hot and adequate. The coke was huge and not too much ice. Yay! We get to the burgers, and WhataLettuce! I felt like that old lady in the old 80’s Wendys commercials. So we ate our large bunned lettuce rich burgers with super thin patties that did not taste like much, but the mustard was good. I drove over 30 minutes specifically to get a shake and breakfast food only to be told that they were just so happening to be cleaning the shake machine and therefore couldn’t get a shake. The lady said “it’s night time, what better time to clean it.” Her attitude was not appreciated. I get to the window and the lady didn’t even come to window and acknowledge me until she was handing the food over and asking for payment by that took forever. She stood there acting as if she didn’t want to be at work. Then I asked for a water expecting it to be free because it’s just water and I had already ordered other items but I was wrong. The lady says that the water would 27 cents. For WATER?!?! After I had done ordered other items. That is shame. My entire experience was completely disappointing and I hope appropriate action will be taken against the staff member and the store. With the way that the store is being managed I would NOT recommend anyone...
