I have gone to this McDonalds numerous times and every time i seem to have a problem. Today i was running late for work and ordered ahead on the Mobile app. When I got to the waiting spot, I sat there for twenty minutes and finally got so frustrated that i went inside. I did not notice there was construction going on but when I entered, i'm assuming the owner, told me the store was closed. I then explained my problem and he went to get an employee. She came up to me with a "deer in headlights" look and asked me what i needed. I told her I had ordered my food on the app and i've been waiting a while. She did not say anything but instead walked inside leaving me waiting again for another 10 minutes. By this time I was extremely late for work and was ready to leave without my food, until finally she came out. I had ordered a McGriddle and a Frappe, along with a $1.00 Hot Fudge Sundae because today is national ice cream day or whatever. She did not bring me a sundae and told me that their ice cream machine was broken (figures lmao). I said simply, "OK, I'll see that refunded then?" and she said Yep and walked back inside. NOT even a, "Have a nice day" or "Thank you" from her. RUDE. I got to my car and realized she did not give me a straw for my drink either. Pathetic. I waited too long already and was kicked out of the lobby once, so I decided to just leave. I went to work and waited until Noon to give them a call. I had not received my refund, so I called them up. I sat on the phone listening to it ring for about 5 minutes until finally someone with a thick accent picked up. I explained to him my problem and all he said was "OK, so you want to call me back later today or another day?" When he said that it sent me to a place of rage I truly never go to. I know $1.08 isn't much to make a fuss about but it isn't just that, it was the wait and the way i was treated. during the visit. I just wanted an apology, or maybe a refund, or something. Rudest staff I've ever encountered. I do not normally eat fast food and after this I probably wont again. I was just in a hurry and trying to eat something before work. I wouldn't be surprised if they spit in people's food for their own amusement. Won't go back to this...
Read moreWorst experience I’ve ever had with fast food I understand it’s McDonald’s and there is a lot of young staff but I’ve never seen such poor work ethic, poor customer service, laziness, or stubbornness ever in fast food and I went through the drive thru. I arrived at this location at 12:15 to buy 2 sodas when I arrived I had 2 cars in front of me waiting to order. The line did not move until 12:58 and when it did they helped out the two cars in front of me as I pull up to the window it hits 1am which is closing time at this location so when I got to the window the employee rudely said “we ran out of food and we’re closed”. So I proceed to wait in the line to try and speak to a manager the young man who rudely blurted the remark “we ran out of food were closed” says that’s apparently how they do it every day “doesn’t matter what time you got in line or how long you’ve been waiting” and that he is “the manager” then what do you know the manager walks right behind him and tries to hide to avoid the situation. This location is a joke, the young hispanic male employee who wouldn’t give me his name, has perm, glasses, and braces is a joke, the closing manager is a joke and if I ever tell you I’m coming back to this location that is also a joke. (If I had the option rate it zero stars I definitely would!)
(It was obvious that they intentionally held up the line because people started pilling in behind me also before 1 am and they did it to try and get people to leave, so they didn’t have to do their job that they get paid for, and if you didn’t leave they just cut off the lights and ignored...
Read moreWent through the drive thru to pick up an order, they told me to wait in a pickup space, and then forgot about me for 30 minutes. I know they forgot because I watched about 25 people go through the drive thru and receive their food. I've worked these jobs before so I know it doesn't take 30 minutes to make fries, even a bulk order of fries. (It generally takes about 6 minutes, for anyone wondering.) So I called the store, told them I was waiting, they acted like I was a new customer and told me to wait. They forgot about me for 30 MORE minutes. I called again--a total of 6 times--and they finally picked up on the 6th call. This time I snapped at them a little and told them I had been waiting for an hour. Again, they acted like I was a new customer they didn't help yet and told me to wait. I was prepared to wait another 30 minutes if I had to, but somehow they had my order in hand within 10 seconds, implying that they had it this entire time and simply forgot to bring it out.
I've worked in food service, I know how it can be in general, and I know food service is tough right now especially. I try to be very patient and kind, but this was ridiculous. Not even a sorry.
I'm not mad that I had to wait an hour. I'm mad because I waited while my food got cold--for no reason other than someone's carelessness--and was offered no apology for it.
Maybe if y'all paid your staff better, they would care more about the job they did. Just...
