I recently visited Arita Ramen & Sushi, hoping to enjoy a nice meal at this new restaurant, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. From start to finish, my experience was horrendous.

First, the service was painfully slow. Despite the restaurant not being busy, I had to wait an excessive amount of time just to be seated. Once seated, it took forever for a server to come and take my order. When the food finally arrived, it was a huge disappointment. The ramen was bland and lacked any depth of flavor, while the sushi tasted far from fresh. It was clear that the ingredients used were of poor quality.

To make matters worse, when I politely brought up my concerns to the staff, I was met with hostility. Lynn, one of the managers, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of addressing my concerns, she harassed me, making the entire situation even more uncomfortable. Her attitude was completely unacceptable and left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was also subpar. The cleanliness was questionable, and the ambiance was anything but inviting. It's evident that Arita Ramen & Sushi has a long way to go in terms of both food quality and customer service.

I strongly advise anyone considering dining here to think twice. There are plenty of other ramen and sushi spots in the area that offer far better food and a much more pleasant dining experience. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid Arita Ramen & Sushi at all costs.

So, I eat a lot of sushi. Like, a LOT of sushi. I’ve tried sushi from America to Japan and everywhere in between (even in Rome). Arita was so amazing the first time I tried it that it is now my die-hard favorite local sushi restaurant. I would rather come here than some of the more well-known restaurants closer to Atlanta.

The menu here caters to everyone. Their appetizers are all so well crafted, their rolls are unique and delicious, their sashimi and nigiri is fresh, and their ramen is a warm and wholesome bite for anyone who doesn’t prefer the fish options on the menu. You can tell that the chefs here really pour their heart into every single dish they assemble before it reaches your table.

The atmosphere at Arita is so fun. It’s never too loud (so you can actually hear the person across from you) but the music is gentle and a great vibe. The place is always spotless, and their interior decor is reminiscent of Japanese culture - think gorgeous cherry blossoms caressing Fujisan and lanterns lighting street shops as you walk through Asakusa.

The service has never failed us - all the hosts and wait staff are so kind and welcoming whenever you come in. I’ve always been greeted with a smile when I walk in the door! The food arrives quickly and I’ve never had to send anything back. Honestly, whenever I eat here I wish I had more room in my tummy because their food is just that good.
