If I could give no star I would. I know it’s long but worth reading- you could be in danger with this ppl not servicing your cars. Today I went in to try to get my Toyota care service once again! Toyota is always texting or emailing when services are needed so when that happens, i schedule the service and done. I barely drive my car keep in mind. At my one year service I was scheduled with Ms. Kharol. This year service did not happen until after a year and 6 months since I did not have the miles yet to get it done. I came in July with 12k miles and Kharol told to come back at 13k miles since that is what the sticker on my windshield was saying “so I did not lose a service? Because if she took the car then she needed it to mark it done and she would short me a service” those were her words . so I waited and rescheduled with her over text. I come in today and she was not even in. I walked in and nobody offered to help so I stood there and this guy Map Mouth called me saying young lady need help? I said yes and came over explaining that my appt was with Kharol who was not in. He then proceeded to look in his computer ( did not ask how my day was or how was I. Just quiet, with a resting unfriendly face. 0 customer service, I did not feel welcomed or like he wanted to assist me, but HAD TO assist me. He Asked me which was my car and he goes out to look at my vehicle, then comes back all annoyed saying I have never serviced my car there before which is not truth. I bought my car there in February 2024. And serviced it there since. I was trying to be friendly and patient but he was pushing that I had not serviced my car there. Then he comes and says he had the wrong car and that my appointment was not with “Kharol it was with anybody “ in a very sarcastic tone. Me there standing thinking ok??? Then says - you need an alignment for 15k miles - I was confused, this is my second car I bought with them and the first time this did not happen. So I looked confused and he said is $140, repeated twice….or you can chose not to do it. I said isn’t all that covered with the Toyota care ? ( he seemed very uninterested to help or talk to me) not looking at me when talking either. And he said no is not covered. And that he will call me once my car is done. So I go sit down and research that alignments are complimentary at 12k miles so I come back and asked and he starts to talks in circles saying how I bought my car over a year and my miles are over 12k when THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK and not serviced my car when I came in before. I called my husband to get some guidance and he tells me it should be all covered. He calls the dealership and speaks with the guy. As soon as he hungs up this guy Map. Texts me saying my car is ready for pick up. He took my car at 3:18 and gave me my car back at 3:34 never in the world I have had a service so quick. So I am sure he did not service my car because he got mad that my husband called to get clarification. All this terrible experience all because I am a young woman? Who is not experienced about cars and the services that require and did not want to pay for something it should be covered or not recommended? He said I am at 15k miles and my car only has 13190. This guy made me feel very vulnerable and uncomfortable. And he was just very unfriendly and unprofessional to me. They marked my service done when they told me to come back and did not touch my car and then now they marked it done once again and he did not touch my car! He said he did an oil change plus tire rotation and more in less than 10 minutes. That is just a lie. I don’t recommend this place or that guy Map Mouth. If he is tired and doesn’t like his job maybe he should just not be there period. We are not coming...
Read moreI was so interested in buying a vehicle. I actually scheduled an appointment. The guy I schedule an appointment with had something come up and he was going to let Zachary take care of me. My appointment was for 10 o’clock… I’m always early so I arrived at approximately 9:15. It wasn’t a big deal. I figured I would look around before speaking with Zachary. I had about 945. I was approached by a sales person. I explained to him that I had an appointment with Zachary at 10 o’clock. He said he would go get Zachary and let him know that I was here. He returned just a few moments later and told me that Zachary is not even on the schedule until noon. I’ve been stood up! I sent a text to the guy I originally had made an appointment with, just a few moments later I had a phone call from the Toyota mall of Georgia. It was the manager I guess he felt that I wasn’t important enough to come talk to in person. But he told me to come in the building and he would get someone to help me. He introduced me to my new sales person, and I shook his hand expecting I would be able to put all of this on the back burners and get the truck that I’m looking for. He asked me what I had in mind and I pulled directly from the text message that was sent to me For the Tacoma. I was there for. Mind you it was going to cost me about $57,000. He pulls up the information and starts telling me that it is $59,000. I explained to him I already got a message with them dropping it down to $57,000 and I am here to negotiate a better deal and lock in my rate and wait for my vehicle to arrive. After going back-and-forth and I will admit that I was starting to get frustrated when he came back and told me $58,000. I told him to give me my keys, but I didn’t come here to be treated like an idiot. They were trying to tell me that my interest rate would be 7.99%… I have a credit score of 802. My salesman came back with his manager and my keys. The manager tried to place some role of because the vehicle is not here. He can’t lock in a rate… And I must’ve been misinformed on the cost of the vehicle… You know the typical salesman BS… I took my keys thanked them for wasting two hours of my day and got in my tundra and left To make a long story short, I went to Milton MARTIN, Toyota in Oakwood. I was greeted with a sales person that caught me out looking at vehicles within about five minutes of my arrival. I gave him a brief summary of what happened just a few minutes before at Toyota Mall of Georgia. I told him I wanted someone to be upfront with me , but not treat me like an idiot. I told him I expect his company to be able to make money and for me to be able to save money. It should be a win-win situation. To make a long story short, the sales person jump through several hoops for me And I can’t tell you how pleased I was to do business with him. I bought a 2025 Toyota SR5 4x4 for what they were trying to charge me for a Tacoma at Toyota of Georgia. And to top it all off… They ran my credit score and I was 832… So my interest rate was at 2.99% for 72 months. If you’re looking to purchase a Toyota… do yourself a favor and travel eight more miles to Oakwood, Georgia… Visit Milton Martin Toyota… they will treat you...
Read moreThis dealership could be a shining example of how NOT to conduct business. They refuse to negotiate at all and push useless warranties and low quality "dealer installed upgrades".
IGNORE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. My wife and I made the mistake of purchasing a car from this dealership and they absolutely refused to take all the extra garbage they installed off. BUT THAT IS NOT EVEN THE WORST PART. Yes, we should have walked away when they refused to negotiate AT ALL. but we foolishly continued negotiations. That was our mistake and you don’t have to make the same one.
The dealers mistake came when they started pushing USELESS WARRANTIES. We were sold an "appearance protection" and "dent protection" warranty that turned out to be COMPLETELY USELESS. Of course we only learned this once we tried to make a small claim to repair a tiny ding in a door. We were told by the car sales lady (who clearly did not know what she was doing) that these warranties could be used to repair any dings dents or scratches. That turned out to be a LIE. When we tried to make a claim we were informed that since the ding had a tiny nick in the paint that they would not repair it.
At this point we were angry and wanted a refund on the warranty which had never been used. The terms of the contract state that the warranty is based on time, NOT MILES yet Toyota corporate and this shady dealership claim they will refund based on a proration based on miles. The contract we signed was based on a time period of three years. There was no mention of a milage limit in the contract regarding the dent protection nonsense they are pushing. At the least I would consider this deceptive. At most I would consider it fraud or theft by deception.
This dealership is aggressively pushing overpriced cars loaded up with way overpriced dealer add-ons (some installed accessories are already falling off after a year, so they use the lowest quality parts for their dealer installed upgrades).
On top of that, they knowingly sell useless extra warranties that are offered through what seemed to be a third party company because no other Toyota dealership can pull record of the warranties they are selling.
After doing a bit more research it also seems they are lying to people about trade-in offers because there are numerous people claiming that this dealership will claim to be able to beat a trade in offer. Once they get you in to the dealership they claim they cannot beat the offer. This is yet another shady tactic just to get you into the dealership and hope you will accept their poor offer.
To contrast this experience, we recently purchased a second Toyota and used a different dealership who did not play ANY of the stupid games this awful dealership did.
Not a chance anyone will get a good deal from this dealership. Do your wallet a favor and avoid them like the plague.
