Quickly, I think I'm in love!! I hadn't been to a QBT before and I ordered online, expecting the large tea to be a pretty standard large but y'all, it was MASSIVE!! Like, my hand didn't fit around the cup massive. When my daughter saw it she said "That's like the Big Gulp of boba drinks!" So, if you are like me and always feel like you could still use a little more tea when you get down to the last slurps...get a large at Quickly and you'll be satisfied!
I'd also like to add the prices are great. My massive large tea with one topping was only $6.99. What? That's a serious value!!
This shop has lots of variety - milk teas of several types including jasmine, oolong, one and taro, several fruit teas, frozen slushies and smoothies and even soda spritzers (these are served in the CUTEST tall, clear cans so you can still enjoy the visual experience of your boba drink. There's also a good selection of toppings outside the traditional tapioca pearls, including rainbow jelly, crystal boba and, of course, popping boba.
I got a large royal milk tea with crystal boba - I like the chew on those! The royal milk tea is smooth and creamy but the strong tea has a great taste all its own. I also got a lychee rose spritzer with rainbow jelly to save for tomorrow, which was seriously refreshing - fruity and floral and cute as a button!!
The shop has food too - tempura chicken, crab Rangoon, etc. there was a family enjoying a meal when I went in to pick up my order. It smelled GOOD.
I loved the convenience of being able to order online too. Quickly...looking forward to stopping in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHiiii!!! Iām Taiwanese American wife is Korean, toddler is perfect. We visited the Taiwanese night market recently and were craving Taiwanese chicken nuggets! And these didnāt disappoint in flavor, quantity or price!! $5.99 for the bag which is like the size of a large drink here! We also ordered the Taro slushie needed a dairy free option for the toddler but accidentally got the Taro Milk Tea. The lychee jelly and tapioca were perfect textures. I saw the previous 1 star review and I think a 1* is totally unfair. I got the same Taro drink(accidentally) and it DID look light purple compared to my slushie (both Taro), but I assure you there was no strawberry in it. Paranoia leading to bad reviews is really a littleā¦ridiculousš¤·š»āāļø. It should be banned and reported actually. But yeah the slushie did have more flavor and the milk tea was a little lighter flavor because of the milk in itā¦duhš.
Anyway overall the staff actually smiled when we arrived and answered my questions, were polite. Think Chick Fil A w Taiwanese chicken and specialty drinks.
Thank you guys!!! Ps-we did love Quickly at UNC Chapel Hill in the past so clearly we love the consistency...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve had great luck in the past with this boba shop but today left a lot to be desired. Other than myself, there were two other customers inside the facility, and when I got to the counter, I was met with an irritated attitude that made me feel as if I was an inconvenience. Definitely not warm or welcoming. After completing the transaction, and seeing the total amount, I realized that part of my order was not accounted for. As I asked the individual at the counter about this, the reply was very snappy, and yet again irritable. They reluctantly rang up the second part of my two item order. I apologized as I may have spoke to softly. While waiting I put down my personal belongings and went to use the restroom to find the bathroom smelt horrendous as there was urine all over the floor. This bathroom looked untouch by any cleaning supplies for quite sometime. After exiting the restroom shortly after my order was ready and again was met with a very sour attitude. Iām super disappointed. Great boba and milk tea shop and has really good small bites but isnāt worth the attitude from employees or the lack of cleaning of...
