Asia Grill & Buffet — Restaurant in Buford

I have been coming to this owner's restaurant for about 17 years. He first had a restaurant by the mall of georgia, then he moved to Lawrenceville now he's in Buford. Today while having lunch my baby granddaughter spilled her lemonade I was trying to find at least some napkins so I could help them clean it up because it was running into the man's table next to me. He was an older man I didn't want him to slip. All they had to do was hand me some napkins. Of course they were very busy so they didn't come to wipe it up and I'm watching this lemonade run down into the next booth, all they had to do was hand me some napkins. Well lo and behold my other granddaughter spills her drink 🤦 yeah I felt awful. The owner comes over and says to me you know it's not fair to the waitress that she has to clean this up. I said sir it was an accident she said sorry to you. He said well I know the first time you were following my daughter around, I said I was concerned I didn't want anybody to fall and sue you. I should have just left it there and not said anything and let someone fall I guess. He made me feel awful, and he knows who I am. He knows I & my family have been patronizing his restaurant for 17 years. I will never be back!! You just don't treat your customers this way, I was embarrassed enough that my granddaughters spilled twice, I didn't need the owner making me feel worse. I'm a good tipper I've been a waitress for years, so I gave the waitress a $20 tip and thanked her for her helping cleaning up the mess even though the owner cleaned up the second one.. Sad call that work with the public would treat a customer of 17 years the way he treated me.. If I ever treated someone that way when I was a waitress I wouldn't...

Absolutely love the variety of seafood, meats, vegetables, dumplings, dessert, etc. The foods are always fresh, I had to wait for a while before chow it down, it stays hot even after transporting from buffet line to your table even after wondering around to decide what food to put on your plate👍. The staffs are really nice, fast and very attentive, they are constantly on the move, clearing plates from tables, refill your drinks, mops the floor, get your check ready during dessert. I barely need to lift my hand to ask for service. You get all that goodies for an unbeatable price. The restaurant doesn't look that fancy from the outside but inside is quite pleasant, bright and clean. We were seated by the booth and immediately have our drinks order taken. They have separate hibachi counter if you want something specific made and separate sushi counter. The hibachi and sushi counter have their own tip jar if you like their service. Location is very convenient, on the same plaza with Walmart in Buford, so we went after grocery shopping 🤣. There are 2 entrances/exits to get to the restaurant parking lot. I suggest to use the one that goes along Walmart parking lot (it has traffic lights for safety). The other main entrance next to the gas station is right next to the exit to the highway, so it's dangerous as no traffic lights for your right of way and cars just keep flying right in front of you with no breaks in between unless the other drivers are being kind and stop...

This place is very convenient as it is located very close to the Walmart! From start to finish we were taken care of. Our waitress has a great sense of humor as me and my son danced at the table and our family laughed. She joined it. The service and the staff were great 👍. The food is different from most of the typical grill and buffet style restaurants. The food was hot and fresh! The buttery crab was delicious! However the dumplings could have been changed out more often and they were very dry. They should be changed out as soon as the staff see that the moisture is sucked out of them from the hot plate but that's decisions left to the management. This was a great place to eat for dinner. We saw this place tucked into a corner when leaving Walmart one night and had to visit. The atmosphere was calm and very relaxed. Although the look of boardom was on most of the staff and thst could have been because it was almost closing time they were very polite and respectful. Very great customer service. I will take my family there again to eat but I would not go out of my way to do so. All in all, I would recommend the hibachi grill! They have plenty of options available for you to create...
