2021.12-10/1900_Server: Enrique. Holy moly. We're coming back here again for two reasons - Enrique and their delicious food. We had an awesome time. We started the evening with a couple cocktails - an Old Fashioned and a Moscow Mule. Deliciousness.

We decided to have the Ahí Tuna Nachos for our appetizer. It couldn't be more perfect. I was worried at first because there was avocado which looked like guacamole at the bottom of the cubed tuna because I'm allergic to tomato. Traditional guacamole doesn't have tomatoes but some people throw some in. Luckily, there wasn't. The Wasabi sauce for the Ahí Tuna was the perfect contrast for the tuna. No complaints there and I always love the chips it's served with!

We had the Prime Rib Weekend Special and the Fresh Atlantic, Oven Baked Salmon as our entrees. The Prime Rib Weekend Special was the best. It even comes with dessert - something called a Pazookie of your choice.

The Salmon was seasoned right and had a lemon Hollandaise style sauce on it. What I loved was the way they cooked the Salmon. It was seared to perfection and nice and flaky on the inside. It wasn't dry and a tiny portion at all. It melted in my mouth. I thought about it for two days. It was that good. It also came with two sides and I had the broccoli and Garlic Roasted Vegetables.

The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection and the cut was insanely huge and worth every penny. It came with two sides and in this case, it was Roasted Asparagus and the Garlic Roasted Vegetables. Outstanding. It also came with a salad of your choice and we chose the Caesar Salad. Talk about a huge meal! Even better, it came with a dessert of your choice - a Pazookie. He chose the Salt and Caramel Pazookie. it was pretty much a huge Salt and Caramel, Chocolate Chip Cookie, the size of the bottom of a huge bowl with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and Caramel and Mini Chocolate Chips sprinkled on it. Holy Toledo. That's heaven.

What made our experience so excellent was our food server, Enrique. He was the man. Being that I've been in hospitality for a quarter of my life, I can tell he was a well-seasoned server. He had it down. He started with our cocktails and suggestive sold us on an awesome Ahí Tuna appetizer because we asked him what he thought was good. He was right! The whole night, our drinks were good and water was full. Condiments were out before the entrées and after he dropped the entrées off, he even did a two minute checkback to see if all was good and if we liked it. All in all, we'll be back because of the incredible customer service and food!...

We used to live walking distance from BJ’s until 2005 and don’t get to come as often. So this was the first time back in a long time. I have a lot of observations to make.

First of all, it’s $4.50 to valet your car. Just park the car yourself up the ramp to the second floor. I used to always get their burgers and pizzas but wanted to try something else. I ordered the chicken Alfredo since it had broccoli in it(semi healthy). And my table also ordered calamari, root beer ribs and a kid’s burger. We obviously weren’t familiar with the latest menu since we hadn’t been here in awhile. They have different specials every day. Today’s special happened to be 1/2 rack of ribs with 2 sides for 13.95. My friend was disappointed the waiter didn’t even mention it to her when she ordered the ribs. An attentive waiter would’ve brought it to her attention and gave her the option. The ribs were good. Salad didn’t have any dressing though. The calamari was really good. We love a good calamari so that was totally fine. The kid’s meal was good too - a burger with fries.

The big disappointment was the chicken alfredo. First of all the presentation was horrible. The chicken and broccoli were buried underneath. It should have been presented with the chicken on top and some broccoli showing. The pasta was super dry and rubbery and there was no sauce. Even my 8 year old was like, “Where’s the sauce?”. I’ve never sent anything back and this was the first time that I did . It was that bad. The thought of taking it home and trying to eat it as a leftover when it was so bad, made me lose my appetite even worse. I expect a little better Alfredo for $17.50. They took it off the check and I ended up getting a pizza which was what I should have done from the start.

By then, I wasn’t hungry anymore so ended up taking most of it home. Also, I didn’t get my water filled once. I asked for another glass, as I was leaving.

Today was a free pizookie promo day so we got a triple chocolate pizookie. That was probably the best part of the dinner.

I am not sure if we will return but hopefully tonight was just an off night. Maybe I’ll just stick to pizza and...

Wow. I’m shocked by the experience. We came here to enjoy my brother in law’s birthday. The manager came out and interrupted our conversation to make sure that my brother in law wasn’t driving and to question how much he had been drinking and just said that’s the policy. Afterwards, the manager said that he (my brother in law) was fine and he’ll bring out the last round of drinks. There were multiple people at the table not drinking and it was extremely inappropriate to interrupt the conversation mid story to question the birthday man’s level of drinking. At least be courteous enough to wait a moment. He just barged into the conversation because his time is obviously more valuable than ours. There are way more appropriate ways to handle a situation and it was extremely unprofessional coming from the manager. As a manager you would think he would have better communication skills to address these difficult situations. My brother in law was so upset by the situation that he refused the last drink and immediately left the restaurant extremely upset and it ruined the whole night. I would just like to say that the waiter was extremely nice and genuine and doesn’t deserve such a rude and unprofessional manager. My wife and I left after our brother in law and his family did. As I looked back, I saw the waiter talking to the manager and just saw the manager laughing and smiling. I’ve never been so appalled by the lack of professionalism from the manager of this establishment. I can guarantee my brother in law will...

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Burbank offers a blend of Californian flavors with traditional favorites, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. During my recent visit, I indulged in their Ribeye Steak complemented by a shareable pizza. The steak was cooked to perfection, showcasing a rich, savory profile that was both satisfying and expertly executed. The menu is impressively diverse, offering something for everyone's palate, which aligns perfectly with their promise of a "remarkable menu." The pizza, with its deep-dish roots and Californian twist, delivered on both taste and texture. What truly sets BJ’s apart is the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. It's not just a place to eat, but a destination to unwind. The craft beer selection is notable, highlighting the hero of their beverage offerings and pairing wonderfully with their menu items. Service was attentive and friendly, contributing to the overall inviting experience. It's evident that BJ's mission to be an "everyday escape" resonates with their guests, as it's easy to see why patrons return regularly. In summary, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Burbank is more than just a dining spot—it's a culinary getaway where quality food, excellent service, and a lively ambiance come together seamlessly. Whether you're in for the craft beer or the delicious food, it’s a venue that promises—and delivers—a memorable dining experience.
