Cafe Grano: A European Oasis in Los Angeles

Upon entering Cafe Grano, it's immediately clear that this isn't your average coffee shop. This gem in Los Angeles offers an extraordinary quality and variety of coffee reminiscent of the finest cafes in Europe. As a coffee enthusiast, I was pleasantly surprised to find such a high standard of product and service in a Los Angeles coffee shop.

The range of coffee options at Cafe Grano is truly impressive. This isn't a place for the casual Starbucks crowd; it's a haven for those who truly understand and appreciate the art of coffee. The staff's knowledge and passion for coffee only add to the experience, making each visit both educational and enjoyable.

Beyond coffee, Cafe Grano offers delightful fresh orange juice and a selection of ice creams, which complement the coffee perfectly. These additions round out the cafe's concept beautifully, making it a perfect spot for both coffee purists and those looking for a refreshing treat.

In conclusion, if you're seeking an authentic coffee experience akin to what you'd find in Europe, Cafe Grano in Los Angeles is a must-visit. It's a place where coffee is not just a drink but a culture, and the addition of fresh juice and ice cream makes it an irresistible...

The barista was very short with me and was not visible up front when I walked in, nor after my order came out. He did not make me feel welcomed at all. After requesting the restroom he let me know that it was only for customers, but walked away after taking my order, so I had to ask again. He seemed annoyed by the entire encounter despite his choice of words. I did not drink the iced Americano because it did not taste good. The atmosphere was fine and it seemed like a convenient place to sit and be left alone for a while. I'm thankful that this place cared enough to check the camera footage, share more context of my visit, and remain consistent on clearly posted policies. If I had been allowed to relieve myself prior to the transaction I would have spent 4 times more money by way of a completely different order. Instead, the only information I had prior to ordering was that the restroom is for customers only. I don't regret the order though because a true judgment can be made on the product makeup including but not limited to the quality of the espresso beans, how fine they are ground, how clean the machines are internally, how long the shots were, how much water and ice was used, etc. I felt dismissed and undervalued. My ratings are based on...

The first time I came here I thought it was great, two trips later and it has gradually gotten worse. The customer service is blunt, but further, ive ordered the same drink 3 times and the last two times it was unpleasant. Today I asked for more syrup because I couldn't taste any sweetness at all, the servers looked at me like I was crazy and said they usually add 20g in, I said ok.. but last time I could taste it, today I cant... they started talking to eachother in their language, then the girl reluctantly added the tiniest extra syrup, as if it was going to break the bank. My sister had ordered the same drink and hers was sweet. I paid $8 if I cant taste the syrup, it shouldn't be difficult for you to add more. Customer...

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Came in 30 mins before closing and was greeted by Nico who helped explain all the pastries I had questions about in a knowledgeable and professional way even with the clock ticking down to CLOSING TIME😨; he was just present🧘 and wasn't rushing or cleaning up while talking to me. Nico's chill and (+) demeanor really made a great impact on my experience! I grabbed a Nutella croissant🤤 and an almond croissant and both were delicious!! Cafe Grano is a spot to hit when craving some cafe needs...plus they have ice cream too🫠. Go get some!!

If you're visiting IKEA or happen to be in the area, this coffee shop is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you're transported straight to Europe — the rich aroma of authentic European coffee fills the air and sets the tone for a cozy, inviting experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere. The gelato was excellent — smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. But the real standout was the coffee shake: bold, creamy, and perfectly balanced.
