Andy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Burleson

So excited to have Andy’s in the neighborhood! Went for the first time tonight. We go to Andy’s at least once a week. Due to tonight’s experience, I probably won’t go back! (To the Burleson location)

I am so BEYOND words livid! The manager on shift was RUDE!

I ordered a kids sundae with hot fudge and brownie. When I got the cup there was hardly any ice cream in it. It was like a brownie with a spoonful of ice cream. I asked the girl at the window for a little more ice cream. When she saw the cup she too laughed and said there was no ice cream in it. When she turned to the shift lead/manager he said he would charge us. The girl even told him “you barely put any ice cream in it.” And he still said no.

At this point I was over it. We were laughing and trying to make light of the situation and his poor management skills and lack of customer service just pissed us all the way off.

Needless to say: you have a rude awakening if that is how you are going to treat your customers. As we drove off he was even going on and on talking about why he was going to charge us for more ice cream.

Last time I checked: it was a kids sundae… not a brownie with a spoonful...

So happy to have Andy's in town. We have been twice now and the custard is delicious as always. I have one small complaint though. I ordered a chocolate malt with banana and when I pulled up to the window I was informed that they were OUT OF BANANAS🙄. My dudes, you are in the parking lot of the largest HEB in the area. When you're getting low, why not send a body over and buy a bunch? Hmmm? I actually even had a banana in my shopping bag and they wouldn't take it to put in my malt. I kind of get the liability issue but man, don't spring this on me at the window. It takes a minute to decide what to order and there's no menu at the window so I just let them talk me into plain chocolate malt. I regret it and it was disappointing. The first time my husband I went to this Andy's location was back in January and it was soo good! Every single time since then it has been irritating. I always ask for the espresso shake or the yummy latte and it only ever taste like their chocolate shake now. Even when I ask for extra espresso...straight chocolate. The first time I got it it tasted like actual coffee! Now this last time it just tastes like milk? I'm not even sure how that's possible considering I ordered two extra espresso shots so three shots total. So I'm paying extra for something that I can't even taste anymore. I've had a few other things at this location and I'm just never impressed with them anymore. Not gonna waste my money...
