I don’t know why everyone is blasting this place. Especially the person hating on the pricing versus Five Guys. Five Guys pricing is astronomical versus Freddie’s. Completely different burgers and fries too.
My visit was when they were still the new thing in town, so I can’t comment on their efficiency now. However, even when packed with people, it was still orderly and semi-quick. The food was good. It wasn’t game changing, but it also wasn’t dreck. I would pick this over a larger fast food chain in an instant on most occasions. Do they beat Five Guys on pure burger? No. Is Five Guys the benchmark for all burgers the world over? Absolutely not. Comparing this to Five Guys is like comparing Taco Bueno to Taco Bell. Same genre, different takes on the food. I don’t go to SmashBurger to get a big ol whopping fat boy of a burger. I also don’t go to Nicky D’s to watch my calorie intake. Fries were new to me. Kind of like soft shoestring potatoes. The burgers are basically smash burgers, but are said to be made with higher quality of meat. No real noticeable difference. The custard and shakes were really nice. Better than a lot of others that I have had before.
Prices were fine considering the current h*llscape we are currently in.

Read moreI went through the drive through and got my food and then after we got back home we realized that they forgot one of are fries I called back up there and they guy on the phone was super nice and very apologetic, I go in there and see the lady at the front register and I tell her what happened looks at me and then turn around and goes to the back to talk to someone after about 2 min another lady comes up and asks if I’ve been helped I say yes y’all just forgot some fries and she was very nice and apologetic the girl comes back says nothing but just a blank stare on her face and then goes I can have the next costumer and says nothing to me but just looking at me like I was supposed to move or something I understand costumer service and have worked in it many years I could of complained about how we had to drive all the way back or anything but instead I didn’t, I was very disappointed in the way she acted and makes me not want to go back please next time just say your sorry or something instead of looking at me like I was the one that did...
Read moreFirst time to eat at this newest location in the DFW area. We ate after 2pm and inside wasn't busy. In the beginning, it appeared that we chose the wrong restaurant to eat at. Why? Because we waited at the counter for 5 minutes before we were acknowledged, "I'll be right with you." Finally, our order was taken, and we sat down to wait for our food. After 25 minutes, I decided to go to the counter and inquire where my food was. The gentleman on the grill saw me standing there and said. Can I help you? I said yes, hello. Like to know where my food is at, I handed them my receipt. He went to look, came back, and said, "I can't find it." I'll remake it asap. While we were waiting at the table, the manager came over to apologize for the delay and told me that she refunded our order.
