I frequent this Starbucks daily and yesterday I had a disheartening experience with an unprofessional barista. I placed a mobile order at 7:32 am and 7 minutes later, before I made it to the store, it showed as ready. The screen also showed my order status as ready when I arrived. I grabbed my drink but didn’t see my sandwich. I got the attention of the barista making hot drinks and let her know I was waiting on a sandwich and her response was “You have to wait.” I didn’t mention my order was showing as ready and just waited. 10 minutes passed and I asked about my sandwich. She asked what I ordered and I let her know. She relayed it to the barista handling food. That barista handed me someone else’s sandwich a few minutes later and I let her know that wasn’t my name, but it was the sandwich that I’d ordered and I put it on the counter. The first barista walks up and says “you can’t just take someone else’s food.” I let her know that I was not taking someone’s food and that the other barista handed it to me before I put it down and I let her know that it wasn’t mine but my order was the same in case she was trying to figure out what I’d ordered. A third barista came and grabbed the sandwich off the counter along with the drink associated with that order and put it near the drive thru like I was trying to steal food. I let them know that I didn’t appreciate being accused of stealing and that if I had come to steal food I would’ve just taken it and left instead of letting them know it wasn’t mine. The barista laughed in my face. I waited until finally I got my food. I will not be back to...
Read moreI find it ridiculous, appalling, offensive, and quite rude for the fact that I had to wait a few minutes before the general manager, Noelle, or Noella (sp), decided that she would -finally- say that she would be right there with me. I also find it hard to believe that heating of the pastries was so important when there were only two people in line and I was number two.
She could’ve said that she she will be with me upon immediately finishing the transaction in front of me, but she didn’t , and I’m sure she saw the expression on my face, which is when she eventually decided to say that she’ll be with me. After having small talk with an employee making a beverage and wrapping her shift. But I couldn’t at least place my order?
I was actually really excited about redeeming my rewards today but I am absolutely not redeeming any points at a location that does not value me as a customer. You don’t even have the best brand perspective right now so the fact that general managers are still acting dismissive of patrons and stores is not OK.
Noelle/Noella wasn’t even apologetic about the fact that I was clearly bothered because she came to the defensive and said “well, I said I would be right there.” No, you know you were wrong, you know exactly why I’m upset, so you shouldn’t have done it in the first place Noella. All it takes is acknowledging me and speaking. I’ll redeem my points elsewhere.
— This is also a shame bc the daytime crew is usually pretty good. I came on a Sunday afternoon and I’m not sure if that makes a difference but Ally (sp) was always great...
Read moreI ordered on the Starbucks app at 1:25pm today it was my order should be done at 1:29pm I walked into the store a minute early, then they proceeded to take and fill orders of the ppl ordering through the drive thru about 6 or seven cars got there after me and all got their orders but mine wasn’t even started I waited for about 20 minutes after the app said my order would be done all I got was a grande refresher, everyone else was getting coffees and food. Ever the ppl in the store got their orders before me, I finally said something cause the app said it was being made but all I saw were coffees turns out it wasn’t even started the whole time I got someone waiting outside for me wasting their gas because they don’t display the knowledge of order I have worked in similar positions with less staff and NEVER would I let someone in the drive thru get their order before the person that ordered ahead, I don’t see where this makes sense or what the logic behind it is but logically you order ahead to save time instead mine was wasted, I stood at the pick up area for 20 minutes and there were multiple drinks there none where mine and I wasn’t acknowledged once, I’m never going here again you will not have my business I’m not gonna give a business my time when they want to waste it I would’ve been better off walking...
