This seems to be an older theater, yet that adds to the charm. Even the marquee, outside, looks old-fashioned. The staff were quite friendly and it made the movie-going experience even more enjoyable.
I do wish they had reclining seats (the seats in the theater, theater 12, sway back a bit, yet don't recline), and that they had a bit more leg room (I'm not very tall and even I felt a bit cramped), and that they had more ticket kiosks available.
I showed up at about half-past eight, on a Friday, and the box office was already closed, with a sign directing everyone to purchase tickets at the concession stand. That may be a way to get people to buy food; however, I drove nearly an hour to see a movie that was no longer available in my area, was running behind, and the fact that the concessions stand was packed and at least one of the touchscreens/registers was down/unattended didn't help. Another Regal I've been to had ticket kiosks right at the box office area, which helped a lot (and I still bought food at the concessions stand...without the frustration that I was missing more of the movie than absolutely necessary).
That issue aside, I'd still go there again, especially if I'm traveling close by, because of the nostalgic feeling of the theater and the friendliness of the...
Read moreUsed to come here all the time. Now rarely. My spouse is deaf and the machines were never working and they'd have to charge them and then bring them to us in the middle of the movie and the battery would die before the movie ended, because they weren't fully charged. Then they only had the glasses and my spouse doesn't like the led lighting right in the eyes. What happened to the cupholder devices? The Regal near us has them and so does the Moorestown and PA theaters. Not to mention AMC always has them. We try to come here when the Fieldboro Regal isn't playing a move we want to see. We are frequent flyers and the staff there recognizes us, always have the machines charged and ready, and know we're going to ask for the captioning machines. Here? Nope! We'd come here more often to do some shopping and visit the local restaurants if only this location had it's act together. The theater itself is okay and decently maintained for an older location. Smaller seats and no recliners, but still okay. Get it together. There are a ton of people out there who are profoundly deaf as well as hard of hearing who could benefit from the closed caption machines and having a choice between the glasses and the...
Read moreOpen again! I have been here several times since it re-opened. I understood the employee shortage when it first opened back up. I understand there are 'help wanted' signs everywhere. But maybe the manager can help out and not sit 10 feet away from the counter? Yeah, I understand management has job duties too, but without happy customers there is no management needed when the theater closes. Waiting to buy your tickets at the concession stand in a long line and the movie is starting maybe (who knows with all the dam coming attractions). A Saturday Night. Even a dedicated register one of the employees handling concessions could spot check. Nuff said on that, yes. The theater is clean and secured with armed security. Handicap accessible both parking lot, building and of course bathrooms. Large parking lot. Reserved seating. Not super recliners and beware there are a few seats that do not recline fully due to wall behind seats. Standard concessions. It is conveniently located for local locations and Rt. 295 to jump over fast...
